Chapter 0.7

Emily's P.O.V.

I sit in my room re-reading my favorite book of all time The Fault In Our Stars. I hear a soft knock on my door. 

"Come in."

"Em? Are you okay? I wasn't laughing at you," it's Tyler. I know I overreacted a bit.

"I'm fine and I'm sorry I didn't mean to be such a drama queen," I groan as my head starts to hurt again. I lay down on my side facing him.

"No it's not okay you don't have to apologize, and I wasn't laughing at you. I was smiling because I realized how lucky I am to have you here with me." He leans in to kiss me when we get interrupted by the ringing of his cell phone. "Shit I have to take this, Hello? Hey how are you?...Yes I miss you too...No don't say that we'll get through this together I promise...Here why don't we do that breathing technique we practiced... ya big breath in your nose...and then out your mouth... yes keep doing that... yes I'll do it with you... breath in... and out, good you got it... yes I'll tell her you said hi... I love you... bye." 

"Who was that?"

"Well it was my mom actually. And by the way she says 'hi'," he says with an obviously fake smile.

"Oh are you okay?" 

I see tears start to form in his eyes, but all I hear from him is, "Yes I'm fine." Of course I don't believe him so I give him a big hug and comfort him. As I do he begins to sob and I squeeze him tighter. 

"I'm here for you no matter what. Just know that you don't have to lie for me I know you're hurting and I don't want you to feel like you can't be like this with me."

We sit there both crying our eyes out for a few minutes until we both hear a knock at the door. 

"Hey guys? You've been in there a while, is everything okay with you two?"

I look at Tyler and his eyes are still a bit red.

"Yes just give us a moment and we'll be right out."

"Okay no rush take your time."

She walks away with other giggles and laughs following her which we can only assume is everyone thinking we'd done "it". 

"I'm ready whenever you are," Tyler whispers, his eyes looking almost as though he hadn't cried at all.

Hey guys sorry it's so short and literal trash. I just went though a move and I had to transfer schools so it's a big adjustment. Also it's been a while since writing this story and I've kind of forgotten all the characters names hahaha but anyways... I hope you all enjoyed this and I hope to get you an update soon. I really want to finish this because it's honestly going nowhere unless someone has a good idea they'd like to share then I would be forever greatful. Don't forget please comment any mistakes you find in plot, detail, or just about anything that doesn't make any sense.
