So far the week hasn't been too bad, sitting with Alex all of the time. He's really funny, and fun to talk to so it's not torturous. He actually showed up on time every day, which apparently was a huge deal for him. People are already saying that I'm the reason for that, but I just think that Monday was a wakeup call for him. Now that he's wide awake people are starting to not just think of him as the "badass" of the school but as an actual human being.

In all of our classes, he pointed out things to me about some of the teachers, and what it secretly means or dirt on their personal lives. I have no idea how he knows all of this, but it felt like I was watching a real life drama. Turns out our world history teacher has a fake nose, and Mr. Regan owns 5 cats. Never would have guessed that.

Alex also informed me about things like who's dating who, who's a know it all (the list included Crystal, so I gave him hell about that), who's bad asses, and who's just plain stupid. We had a lot of fun together, and I think we became really close today. I would definitely consider him a friend, but I don't know what he thinks. He's a guy, and in my opinion guys are much harder to read. All in all we had a fun week together.

"Hey" Alex says walking into step with me.

"Hey, we're going to yours right?" I said realizing a slight problem.

"Yea, why?"

"I don't have a ride," I said expecting him to be mad, but he seemed as calm as ever. I usually would just go on a bus but the route was changed today, so it won't be stopping at our school anymore.

"No problem, I will just drive you," He nonchalantly put his arm around my shoulder and I snuggled into his chest while we walked. It was very comfortable. He smiled down at me just before we walked out of the school heading towards his car.

"Sweet ride!" I said after he politely opened the door for me to get in. He jogged around the car to the other side and opened the door for himself.

"Yea, it's my baby,"

"Ugh stop. You're sounding like my brother,"

"Oh really!" He laughed "I didn't know you had a brother,"

"Two," I corrected.

"Well this just shows I know nothing about you,"

"I wouldn't say nothing. Just not a lot,"

"And why is that," The tension immediately built and I really didn't know how to answer "Cause I don't want you to know" politely.

"Umm.."

"Nevermind, I didn't realize it was a touché subject,"

"Its just.."

"No I get it, when we get closer you might tell me, don't worry about it babe,"

"Babe?"

"Yea, why not," He laughed.

"That's what you call a girlfriend,"

"I'm Alex Rider, I don't have a girlfriend. I have girlfriends," He emphasized the "s" in girlfriends.

"Ehhh, I don't think so," I said starting to recover from the last subject, he noticed and started to relax himself.

"What do you mean 'you don't think so'"

"I just don't see you as the player type"

"Oh please, I'm the most likely to be a player"
