The second I saw Alex from behind the now open door, I didn't care that he was seeing me half naked, I ran behind him because it seemed that I would be safe. Or at least safer than where I was only seconds ago. Once I was hidden behind him I began to ball my eyes out, not caring who heard me.

"Give her back," I heard Chase yell.

"No!" I cried. The mere thought of being next to him made me sick.

I didn't know what Alex was doing at the time, but once it happened I couldn't stop it. All I could see from my angle was Alex punching Chase as hard as he could, knocking him out cold. I was completely dumbfounded by Alex's actions. He protected me. He stood up for me when he knew I couldn't fight back. He helped me when I was down.

Before I could tell what he was doing he grabbed my hand, gently, and moved us towards one of the many empty bedrooms. Once we were alone in a room, he led me to the bed and began to pace. Back and forth, back and forth. I had no idea what he was thinking. If I was in his position, I don't know what I would be thinking either, but every few seconds he would look at me with pleading eyes, like he was asking me to make all of this none sense in his head go away. Finally after what seemed like forever, I decided to speak.

"What are you thinking right now?" looking at me, he seemed to be thinking very hard on how to answer this question. Almost like there were no words to describe the questions in his brain. Suddenly he sat down, and put his two big hands around my own, instantly making me feel warm and safe.

"Who was that?" I wasn't surprised by the question. It would be obvious that he would want to know, I just didn't know if I wanted to tell him the truth or not.

"I-I don't know," I lied. I decided that it would be best if he didn't know Chase and I's past. Maybe it would be easier to forget if I just stopped telling people. The next think, though, surprised me completely. He pulled his hands away from mine and put his arms around me, hugging me lightly. Letting me know I was safe.

"H-has anything like this happened before?" I could feel in his voice how hesitant, and how worried he was about the answer. I looked into his eyes, and I saw pain. I saw his pain for me.

"Well..the first time I went to a party I got roofied.." He pulled me closer to him, like that would help him listen better. His hand was now clutching onto my waist for dear life. I wanted him to know I was okay, so I put my arms around his chest, hugging him tightly. "Nothing happened though. Crystal came to save me before the guy did anything too..." I didn't get a chance to finish because suddenly the door was thrown open, scaring Alex onto his feet going in front of me to protect me. Thankfully it was just a worried Crystal at the door, but I missed his touch. (Vote if u cri ervy tim).

"It's okay Alex," I whispered, immediately he moved to the side and Crystal ran to me to give me a gigantic awkward hug, then sitting to my right.

"Oh My God, my BABY! What happened?" She put her head on my shoulders, still holding me.

I broke. I started to uncontrollably cry, like everything that just happened hit me with a huge punch to the stomach. The only word I could get out was "Ch-chase,"

"FUCK! What did he do this time? Are you hurt?" She said inspecting my face and my arms. She then noticed I wasn't in the state where I could talk, so she looked up at Alex for an explanation.

"Wait, Chase, Chase, Chase. Where do I know that name from? Is that the name of that guy who called you on Monday?"

"He called you?" All I could manage was a nod. "FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!"
