The next morning I woke up with joy as the game is finally released. I put on my new fresh uniform and out stickers of my favorite characters on my badge. I grabbed my key and walked out the door. I had the morning shift today since I didn't have school so I worked earlier. There was a huge line waiting. Out of all the customers waiting, I saw the same purple-haired boy standing in line with his friends. My heart pumped with excitement as I thought I never would see him again. I opened the doors as many customers came in like a thousand bees flying out of a hive. I kept up with the sales and looked desperately for Michael. After the last two customers had left he approached the counter with the last copy. I was disappointed because I couldn't get it myself but I knew my friends would get a copy for me.

"Well here's the game we've all been waiting for."

His eyes teared up as he looked at the game as if it was Jesus in his hands. I giggled at his fanboy moment came out.

"Well Rhiannon, did you save a copy for yourself?"

I stopped smiling as I knew there was none for me to get. "Sadly, no. I didn't know it would be popular enough to sell out. I shouldn't have lowered my expectations. I've been playing the series of this game since I was 6. He held out another copy from behind his friend.

"Well Luke isn't much of a gamer but I was going to get 2 copies to try to make him play it but I can see how much you love it as much as I do."

I jumped with excitement as I didn't expect this to happen.

"Oh my god thank you Michael! I barely met you yesterday but I love you so much!"

I didn't have time to realize what I was saying as my fangirl moment was taking over. He giggled at my excitement.

"Well, what time do you get off of work? I can pick you up and we should get some ice cream afterwards."

My shift ended in a couple of hours.

"I get off at 6."

"Great. I'll be here at 6 then."

He paid his game and walked away as I put mine in the counter so i would pay for it later.
