It was Thursday, 15th of June 2017. First week of our class. As we were waiting to our first subject professor, me and my classmate friend decided to fill up our empty water bottle to the water dispenser in second floor, by the way our homeroom is at 2nd floor. Nagkakasiyahan habang nagke-kwentuhan ng kung ano-anong bagay. We talked about the school, about how we will gonna survive at our senior high school journey. Little did we know 4 days from now (present) we will gonna graduate senior high school. We didn't notice the time we spent talking to each other.
We immediately run like we are chased by the zombies. So, we end up panting while we are going upstairs at the 2nd floor. Before we opened up our classroom door we checked first if theres already a professor inside. And, boom. Yep, there it is! I slowly open the door and HE noticed us. Our professor in P.E. It is like a slow-mo moment, his small eyes and mine met. It was the first time. It was like his eyes telling me that they already know me. Or am I just imagining the situation? It was the first time our eyes met and I knew that time there was something that gonna happen in my whole senior high school life with him.
"Why are you late?" He asked. What a masculine voice. Well the tone of his voice is a mixed of masculine and soft voice. I can't explain. That was the first time I heard his voice. Well, I already knew him from the very first day of the school. But I don't know the sound of his voice. Of course, we didn't meet him at that day.
"Sir, kumuha lang po kami ng tubig sa baba." I answered. While were still looking to each other. Hindi ko nakakaya ang sitwasyon. There was something in my stomach. Hindi ko kaya ang makipagtitigan. Lalo na't magandang lalaki ang kaharap ko. Kahinaan ko to, diyos ko. Umagang umaga nanghihina tuhod ko sa mga mata neto.
"Okay, what is your name?" He asked again. Parang may kumabog saakin na hindi ko maalithala kung ano. Kinabahan ako dahil parang tapos na silang nag introduction one by one. Kaya siguro tinatanong niya pangalan ko.
"Damsel po, Sir." Pagkasabi ko parang umaliwas ang iyong mukha na parang may nalaman ka. Inulit mo pa nga ang aking pangalan na para bang hindi mo pa naririnig dati. Then you asked the same question to my classmate. Take note, we were still standing at the door.
"Okay, you can sit down." As you command we immediately sit on our respective chair. And you started introducing yourself. Oh yeah, you are Mr. Nathan Arend Martinez Patriond. Ang haba ng pangalan mo. Ngayon pala initial name mo yung Martinez. And eto pa yung nagpagulat sa'kin about sa'yo na 20 years old ka pa lang. And you also mentioned that you are freshly graduate from --- school and you took the course of education major in english. Then you also said na ikaw naatasan maging P.E instructor namin kahit hindi 'yun ang major mo. Kulang daw kasi ang mga P.E instructor sa school kaya ikaw inatasan muna. Natawa ka nga sa kwento mo kasi wala kang ka ide-ideya sa P.E dahil sobrang layo neto sa major na kinuha mo nung college ka pa.
But oh well, while you are speaking in front of us, I can tell that you have such a good way of delivering messages, good speaking and you choose the words thats coming out in your mouth well. Halatadong matalino ka.
You ordered us to introduced ourselves in front of the class. Including our names, habits, our favourite movies and etc. I didn't notice i'll be the next to stand up in the front.
I calmly and confident introduced my self. "I'm Damsel Yras, 16 years old. I graduated junior high school from Pampanga High School. My habits are surfing in the internet, fangirling and watching kdramas and western movies. My favorite movie at this moment, Sir is The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones."
"Oh you're a fan of The Walking Dead?" You didn't hesitant to asked me. Para kang bata na nakita mo ang iyong kalaro. Nakatawa kang tinanong mo saakin 'yon. I noticed my classmates were just looking at me and you. By the way you are in the last row standing up, while you are listening to me.
"Opo, Sir. Hehe." Hindi ko alam pero nahiya ako. Bakit nga ba? Na-conscious ba ako sa kadahilanang nasakin ang atensyon mo? Okay na e, tuloy tuloy na yung intro ko pero hays.
"I'm a fan too! Pati yung Game of Thrones!" At that time I knew there will be something to happen. I don't know the exact. "Ah talaga, Sir? Who was your fave character?" I asked you, na para bang walang studyante sa harap na tin, haha.
"Glenn is my favourite character, Ikaw? Sinong sakanila?" You asked me again, diyos ko, question and answer ba to sir? Parang giliw na giliw ka sa topic na pinaguusapan na tin.
"Si Glenn and Daryll po, Sir!" Nabigla ka dahil pareho yung fave character na tin sa TWD. Tapos madami ka ding tinanong if saang episode na ako, sabi ko nasa episode 7 na ako tapos sabi mo 6 ka pa lang haha. Tinanong mo din kung saan ako nag dodownload ng movies, 'e sabi ko online ko lang siya pinapanood. "Sayang magpapacopy sana ako." Natawa na lang ako sayo noon.
Tapos nag start ka ng magturo about sa P.E you introduced the subject to us, you also introduced the topics and activity we will be having to you in future.
Habang nag sasalita ka hindi ko maiwasang i describe ka sa isipan ko, may pagka-matangkad ka, payat as in petite pero 'di halata sa mukha mo dahil hindi payat ang mukha mo, may chubby cheeks ka. Maayos ka din manamit. Tapos yung buhok, julot. Haha. Pansin ko hindi straight ang buhok mo pero naka clean cut ka kaya hindi masyadong pansin na wavy buhok mo. Tapos yung kulay ng balat mo medyo may pagkamaputi, hindi ka maitim e. Malinis ka as in total. Yung mga mata mo, sa sobrang singkit kapag tumatawa ka hindi ko na sila makita. Iba din ang awra ng mga mata mo. Hindi yung typical na singkit lang pero iba sila e. Paano pa kaya kung galit mga yan? Nakakatakot siguro.
Sa araw na yon, maraming nangyari. At ikaw ang pinaka-paborito kong nangyari sa araw ko.
