As I woke up, I look at the window; the sun was entering bright and warm. I groaned at that. I got up to close the curtains so the sun won't enter to my room. I looked at my alarm clock, nine o'clock; wow, my dream lasted more than I thought.

"Happy Birthday to you,

You were born in the zoo,

With the lions and zebras,

And the monkeys like you!"

My father was by the door singing with a little cupcake in his hand, he was still in his sleeping clothes. I went to hug him.

"Happy Birthday Sophie" he muttered and giving me a kiss on my head since he was a head taller than me.

"Thanks dad" I said.

"Get ready, I've got a little something for you" he said and returned to the kitchen, leaving the cupcake on my room.

I went to the closet for clothes. I took some skinny black jeans, a black tank top and a grey sweatshirt that had a wolf's face in it; I also took a pair of white converse. I went to take a quick shower so I wouldn't smell as my bed.

I entered to the bathroom and put my clothes in a corner. I looked at myself in the mirror. My auburn hair was messy but not that much and my silvery yellow eyes looked tired, I'm not a morning person. I took the cotton shorts and shirt off. I entered to the shower and turned the hot water on.

After twenty minutes and some shampoo in my eyes, I was fully dressed. I took my wet hair into a high pony tail.

I went down the first staircase to see if my dad was on his room, and he wasn't so I went down the second staircase to see if he was in the kitchen or in the living room.

He was sitting in the sofa, watching football. He was ready; he was wearing blue jeans and a buttons blue shirt. His hair was wet so I suppose he took a shower.

"Ready, dad" I told him.

"Okay, sweetie, I just need to go for something and we can go" he told me going to his room. I went to the kitchen.

I took an apple from the bowl and began took a knife to cut it. This knife looked familiar for some reason, and then I remembered.

'You'll need them'

I ran to my room and checked everywhere, they weren't there. Of course, it was a dream, but for some reason, I wished it was true.

'Under the pillows'

I checked under the pillows, there they were; they were long and beautiful. They had a silver blade and a bronze handle with quarts pieces.

I took a silver purse and get the knives inside, I don't know why, I just felt safer with them. I went downstairs again; my dad was eating my apple.

"Hey!" he said as I grabbed the last piece of the apple.

"It was my apple" I said after I ate that little piece. As mature as a full grown man could be, he stuck his tongue out.

"Where are we going, dad?" I asked him.

"Well, do you remember when you begged me to have a horse so you could practice with your bow?" he asked me and I remembered the time when I was eleven.

"Dad, please! I need that horse" I pleaded him.

"No Sophia, you can't have a horse" he said.

"Dad, please; we have plenty of room at home for him!" I hugged the white horse and did my best puppy face for him to accept.

"Sophia, you need to understand. Although we have plenty of room, this is not a horse you could practice with. He is just for spectacles" he said carrying me down from the horse.
