Well this is my second addition to my collection of wildflowers, Dwayne Harrison and Alice Parker, I know they don't sound too exotic but these flowers of mine have been through some tuff weather and long seasons in order to take bloom, I would like to thank Mzz Snow(Reshma Snow) thank you for helping me get rid of my weeds. Your Editing skill is way up there, you helped me grow as an author. Thank you for your time and hard work. Sierralicht (Ashine Hollwah) Baby girl you are my light, thank you for your help too. wildflower

sweet wild flower,

the clouds are dark,

the road is long,

set your roots to the ground child,

a storm is coming,

your heart will be bruised,

your skin will be torn,

he'll trample on you,

he'll break you

wait, don't despair the sun will rise,

your time to bloom will be here.

Dwayne Harrison clenched his fist into a tight ball. "How could you let this happen? After I pleaded with you, I practically begged you to quit. God, why couldn't you just listen for once in your goddamn existence?" He gritted through clenched teeth barely able to restrain the force of his anger. He felt his body tremble with ill-concealed rage; Dwayne had never felt so angry in his life. He had the primal urge to bang his head against the wall, to use his fists until they were bruised and bloodied, to shout at the top of his lungs and bang his fists upon his chest until the world took notice; until it acknowledged his misery. That was only a preview to what he truly felt, his pain plunged deep into the roots of his very existence and shook him to the depths of his soul. Alice inhaled and the hot tears spilled from her tired eyes, she didn't know what to say to make things better.

"Why? For fuck's sake, why couldn't you listen, Alice?" He hissed, finding an outlet for his pent-up rage. His huge fist slammed mercilessly into the drywall of the emergency ward, busting a hole through the faded wallpaper and the underlying layer of concrete and gypsum. He'd at least managed to fuck up his right hand as it came away from the gaping hole equally busted and bruised, leaving traces behind of skin and blood. Behind him, his petite wife visibly flinched, no doubt picturing herself as the recipient of such unchecked rage. As if he could be that savage. What did he care about? The world obviously didn't give a damn about him. In fact, it had conspired against him by taking one of thing he cherished most. It had taken life's most precious gift away from him. The proof of the boundless love he'd shared with the woman beside him. He was prepared to share a life of eternal love and happiness with her. Now he couldn't even stand the sight of her. A mixture of regret and guilt washed over him. If he had just convinced her- if she had just trusted him- none of this would have happened. She had broken his trust. She was the reason why their unborn child, his baby, had lost its chance to make its entrance into this world. The child whose existence he'd barely had time to acclimate to but had loved unconditionally from the moment he'd been aware of its presence. An innocent possibility, he'd found himself yearning to hold in his arms, was regrettably and unforgivably gone.

Dwayne hated the woman in front of him at that moment, but most of all he hated himself. If he had been a better provider; she wouldn't have felt the need to work at that stupid bar, twenty-four-seven. She wouldn't have lost their baby. Why couldn't she have trusted him a little more? God damn it! All she had to do was wait for a little while. They had only registered as husband and wife two weeks ago; she was seven weeks pregnant. His family didn't know they had gotten married, it had all happened so fast; Both his parents and his baby brother Dawn were overseas on business working on a tender for a new building. They were hoping that their company would get the contract to begin construction. This contract would be the start of a new future for his father's company and the start of a better future for everyone.
