"Chasing the Dragon"

There was once a girl, who forgot what her name was. That girl, who nicknamed herself Braun, was a fair young lady with long brown hair and bright green eyes, smooth skin and smile vibrant as the morning sun. 

Braun also forgot who her family was. She looked around the town, looked around the village, yet they were nowhere to be found. Mother? Father? Brother? Sister? Her brain told her she was an orphan, but her heart told her she isn't. 

The girl who forgot started to get desperate, so she started to ask people for help. At first, they have declined, but then a young man told her about the Dragon. 

"It knows all the answers. It will tell you the truth. It will open your eyes and make you happy," he said. 

Braun went on an adventure to find the Dragon. The road was hard and tiring. Along the way, the girl met other people who wanted to find the Dragon. They walked, jogged, ran. All of them were chasing the Dragon as if it was the only thing that mattered. 

Braun wanted her family to find their way to her.

Mateo wanted his degree in IT.

Sisi wanted to be a model. 

People, chasers, came and went, yet these three stood together. 

The road became hard. Braun, once a beatiful woman, became tattered and pale, her once magnificent hair and smile gone. However, she pushed on. She had to find the Dragon. 

Sisi was lost along the way. Her beautiful body disfigured by the chase. The thrill, the rush. 

Mateo lost his mind near the end. He lashed out at Braun, making her kill him in self defence. 

That didn't matter to her. She had to find the Dragon. 

Why?

She forgot. 

Months passed and the girl who forgot was now a ghost of her former self. She stood at the edge of a cliff, looking down. Skeleton thin, pale like snow, eyes dark and sunken in, teeth fallen out. 

And still, she was smiling. 

Down there, in the canyon, she saw it. The Dragon. 

It was sleeping, curled up in a ball. It's scales white like the clouds that used to be in the sky. 

Braun took one last step. 

She met the Dragon. 

Bella's body was found by the police three months after she disappeared from her home town. Her family couldn't recognize their girl. The cause of death was pretty clear. 

Bella overdosed herself. 

Bella has found the Dragon.
