Perttu was never really expecting his life to be as flawless as it was. He never really hoped for it to be like that and he bet that his parents hadn't either. But lying awake in his king sized bed with silky red sheets, he couldn't really afford to care. Well, he could, but he wouldn't waste his money on that.
Groggy from sleep and grumpy due to the fact that he had school today, he sat up and rubbed his eyes with his fist, his long black hair slipping over his shoulders. Throwing the large and thick blankets from himself, he placed his legs over the bed and didn't bother turning his head as one of his maids entered his room.
"Mr. Kivilaakso, your parents are wanting me to check on you."
He rolled his eyes. Always so nice and sweet with a voice so coated with sugar that it made his teeth ache. "I'm fine. Can you go away now?"
"Oh...okay."
Perttu was always annoyed when someone came in to check on him. What the fuck did they think he was doing up here? Fucking smoking or something? He shook his head as he stood and headed to his bathroom, which was as big as his immense master bedroom. 'Parents are so insecure.'
Getting ready for his private school was a slow drag for him once it came to Monday mornings. He would always take his time in dressing in his dark blue uniform with the black and blue striped tie. Every time he put the tie on, he always wanted to rip it off. He hated ties and wisheds the school board would get rid of them. He only liked to wear them for special occassions. School was not a special occassion to him, but it sure was to his very expectant parents.
Slinging his book bag over his shoulder, he checked himself in his body-length mirror and nodded with a small grin on his face. Pale skin stretched over his sharp-boned face, back-length black hair with a single white streak and a dark red one, long and lean body to match and compliment his skin color. Perttu made pale look good. In everyone else's opinion (including his own), he made everything look good.
At school, everyone absolutely adored him. The girls, especially. He had many girls and boys ask him out before and he only took very few up for their offer. These were the few who weren't looking for relationships and were just looking for a good fuck. Perttu didn't do relationships. He did sex. Yes, he was seen as the school's manwhore, but nobody really looked that deep into it. At this point, he had a girl who he was normally fucking - Victoria.
Vicotria was very attractive with her long dark red and curly hair and high cheek bones for Perttu to kiss. Her eyes were a shocking and bright blue and her lips were nice and plush - the ideal girl that Perttu was looking for. Perttu wasn't emotionally attracted to her, though - they were just fuck buddies...well, at least in Perttu's eyes. Victoria was always clinging to him whenever she saw him in the hall and Perttu had to constantly remind her that they weren't an item. Victoria always saw things differently. Now she was telling all of her friends that she and Perttu were dating and "getting serious".
'Guess I'm gonna have to break it off and find someone new.' He'd thought while fixing the button on his blazer. He honestly didn't trust Victoria for leaving him alone after all of this, but it was worth a shot. Victoria was an obsessive shit in general anyhow.
Trotting down his curved and carpeted stairs, one of his butlers waited for him at the bottom. He huffed and rolled his eyes again as he reached the last step. "I don't want anything, I'm fine. Jesus fucking Christ."
His mother, who was turning the corner of the steps, gasped. "Perttu, we do not allow cursing in this household."
Perttu pressed his lips together and shook his head stubbornly. "Yes, alright, mother," he leaned in and kissed her cheek. "Tell father I said bye."
"I think it's quite rude to not tell him personally, Perttu."
"Well, you can see that I'm kind of running tight on time, so, not so rude, now is it?" Perttu teased, headin for the two large doors.
His mother rolled her eyes. "Goodbye to you too, Perttu."
At the last minute, he heard his mother snapping at some maid or butler for them to pick something up and lecture them on how the house is supposed to be clean at all times.
Now that he thought about it as he slipped into his new white Mercedes, he never noticed the fact that they weren't so gentle with their servants. In Perttu's eyes, servants weren't really deserving of anything else. Everyone had a fate, right? Well, this was theirs. Their fate was to serve Perttu and the rest of his family and be able to take it. Even though Perttu didn't admit it to himself, he was very concieted.
He was very annoyed when he saw that he had to get one his servants a car as well. That servant was the same age as him and he went to his school also. That servant's name was Eicca. Nobody liked Eicca. Except for one person and their name was Scott. Perttu could see that Scott was losing interest and after all, he was only friends with Eicca to be nice. He was even planning on asking him out, but when he asked for his sexual preference, he didn't say anything, so he just left it alone.
Perttu never really paid much attention to Eicca during the school day and even when they were home. When he would see Scott at lunch with Eicca, he would always see a small smile on his face before it faded away under a milisecond.
'Can you smile for once?' Perttu thought, frowning as the thought approached him while he drove. He didn't see why Eicca was making his own life so hard. 'Get over it with your parents already.'
Eicca was an orphan. His parents weren't doing well with money anyhow, but Perttu had gotten the vibe that Eicca was happy with his life with them, despite the living conditions. Then the tragedy of common life happened - death. His parents had gone into a store simply to buy a few groceries before a gunman came in and shot everyone in the store. People who were able to escape were lucky. Eicca's parents were not one of those people.
After the death of his parents, his siblings weren't able to take him in and adopt him because they weren't old enough. And sadly enough, he and his siblings were seperated when they were taken into foster homes. They never saw each other again.
...Okay, so, Perttu had to admit that was pretty sad. 'But it's been a decade and four years now! You should be able to get over it in that time, right? At least I know I would.'
After the small and thoughtful drive, he pulled up in front of his school, a brick building with a bright inside. He sighed as he put his car in park. 'Let's get this over with already. I've got some heart-breaking to do.'
