*Daniel's POV*

It has been a week since me, Lexi and Zach all went out and I have finally made my decision.

I am going to ask Lexi to be my girlfriend.

I have talked to the guys about it and they helped me figure out how I am going to actually do it. 

*Lexi's POV*

"Hey, I was wondering, are you free tonight?" Daniel asks as soon as I pick up the phone, I am currently sat on my bed, listening to music and finishing off my English assessment.

"Um, yeah why?" I ask, with a smile.

"Okay, I have got a surprise for you, I will pick you up at 7" he says and I laugh.

"Okay, where are we going?" I ask, wanting to know what to wear.

"That isn't a surprise, but wear something nice" he says and I smile. God he knows me too well.

"Alright then, I will see you then"

"See you then" he says, before hanging up the phone.

At about ten to six, I get out of the shower and I immediately sit down and start blow drying my hair. Once I have finished drying it, I straighten my hair and go and pick out my outfit. Eventually, I choose a tight, black dress that goes up to about half way over my thigh, a cropped, green camo jacket and a pair of plain black ankle boots. Lastly, I put on some nude colour makeup, some nude lipstick and brown eyeshadow. Once I have finished that, I put on some perfume and I grab a black bag. When I look at the time, I realise that it is five to seven, so I walk downstairs and wait in the living room.

After two minutes, I hear a knock at the door and I smile as I walk over and open it.

"Hey" I say as I see Daniel stood at the door, with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. "Oh my god, Daniel, you seriously shouldn't have got me anything!" I say and he smiles back at me.

"I wanted to get you something, you look amazing by the way" he says and I smile as we walk into the kitchen and put the flowers in a vase. "Are you ready to go?" He asks when I have done this.

"Yeah, I am ready" I say and he smiles as we walk outside, to his car. "So, where are we going?" I ask as he starts driving and he smiles again.

"Like I said, it is a surprise, but I will give you one clue, it involves your favourite food" he says and I smile.

We sit talking while he drives for ten minutes before he pulls up somewhere and says, "okay, we are here"

When I look out the window, I see my favourite Chinese restaurant.

"How did you know that I love it here?" I ask and he looks down, nervously.

"I may or may not have asked Dani where your favourite place to eat is..." he says, a nervous tone in his voice.

"That is so sweet" I say, with a laugh at his nervous and shocked expression when he looks up at me.

"Wait, really?" He asks and I laugh again.

"Yeah, it really is" I say and he smiles at me, relieved.

"Thank god, shall we go in then?" He asks and I nod.

Once we have finished our meal he asks for two fortune cookies and I smile.

"I swear, fortune cookies are the best part of the meal" I say and he smiles.

"Yeah, they really are" He says and I smile back at him, "Okay, you open yours first" 

"Okay" I say and I immediately open it and read the message inside. What it says surprises me and makes tears form in my eyes and brings an even bigger smile on to my face.
