Kai woke up with sun beaming down his face. He turned around to see Melissa asleep peacefully, he thought he sounded like a perv when he thought that she always looked peaceful when she was asleep. He didn't know what had came over him but he kissed her thore head which made her flinch a little. "D-dont h-hurt me" she said under her breathe while still resting. Kai's PoV "W-What?" "AAA" Melissa woke up startled and clutching to her waist were her scar was. "Melissa calm down it was just a nightmare" I said calmly she seemed to have been scared pretty badly. She suddenly hugged me , I returned the hug we stayed like that for at least a good two minutes. "P-promise me you'll never h-hurt me or forget me autumn?" She said still shaken up from the nightmare she had. " I promise kitten" We both sat on top of my sleeping bag holding one another in our arms. "Y-you still want to know how I got them stitches on my waist?" Melissa said while holding tighter to me as if she was afraid to tell me. "If you comftable with it" "I am, anyways I came home from school with my sister and my sister said hi to our parents but I had a pretty shit day so I didn't say anything and just wanted to get to my room,my dad was drunk and he's gets violent when he's drunk,he started complaining about how I don't show my face or interact with anyone, an argument soon broke out and it got pretty bad ,my mom just watched as if she was entertained,my dad rushes over and grabbed a sharp knife from one of the doors, I kept telling to stop and that he was drunk I screamed and screamed while my mother did nothing just watched with excitement in her eyes,he slashed the knife across the side of my waist and booted me in the stomach" She started to cry,I wanted to cry with her. "H-he called me horrible names like I was worthless,failure,slut and a disgrace to the family,I ran upstairs to my room to stitch my wound,Billie~Jo had no idea as she was blasting her music in her earphones and I've never told anyone about that incident not even my older sister" She started lean against my chest. "I-i hope you keep your p-promise Kai and if I'm making you uncomfortable you can tell me and I'll back off" "N-no I kind of like it and plus the nights are starting to getting chilly so it's nice I feel warm" "Heh hmm same" We stayed like that for awhile until billie~Jo told us to get up~ Writer's PoV Billie~jo hat put on a shoulder less crop top paired with light blue jeans.
