you notice the shining sun
you notice the autumn scent.
you notice the rustling of leaves
you notice the cool breeze.
you look at the clear waters
and smile at the frolicking fish.
you warm up your hands
and further sip on your coffee.
you pull tighter on your coat
hoping it keeps you warmer.
you intake a deep breathe
and feel the cold tear through you.
you feel a sharpness
burn through your body.
you let a shaky breathe out
the pain slowly fading away.
its only an autumn breeze
that can make you feel this way.
excruciatingly painful
yet soothing.

If I'm being honest, I've never lived in a country where autumn is an actual season. I was on vacation once and thought it was something beautiful.. So this is my attempt to explain how I felt in the Fall of 2014...
