This chapter is mainly filler with some important stuff in between. I hate having to write these chapters because they are annoying and not much happens. However, I do feel they are necessary, sort of like a bridge between one point and another. This is the bridge between Rose starting to get romantic with Freddy and Jason and the point where they fall in love with her. A boring bridge but necessary. Onward!
Narrator's P.O.V.
Somewhere in Hell, an unknown figure was talking to a tall man in leather. "You are doing well, old friend. Just make sure to be very careful over the next couple of months. We have to make sure my plan does not fail."
"Understood, master." The leather-clad man replied. "What should I do then?"
"Do as you have done because I predict in four, perhaps five months, my final plan will come to fruition." The leather-clad man nodded as he headed to the door. "One more thing. Hold off on telling him about the girl. If we time this right and he learns the truth at the moment I have planned, everything will go much smoother."
The leather-clad man bowed and left the room.

Elsewhere in Hell, Maddix had just arrived in Pinhead's domain. Pinhead was impatiently waiting to hear what the fruits of his labor had wrought.
"Master, I have come with news."
"Well spit it out! How'd they get out, where are they, and...?"
"Never fear." Maddix interjected. "The pair of them escaped using the Necronomicon. They went through separate portals back to the human world and have been hiding out since then. Jason still has the Necronomicon."
"I knew it!" Pinhead growled. "I want to know their weaknesses."
"But, master, you already know them! Freddy is afraid of fire and Jason of water."
"No! Not their fears! Their weaknesses!" Pinhead stretched up to his full height. "Everyone has a weakness. I simply need to find theirs and exploit it. Because then, oh then, I will be able to torture them until the end of eternity!"
Maddix nodded. "As you wish, master." Then he disappeared into nothingness.

It has often been asked whose side Maddix was really on. He seemed to genuinely care for the killers and was their friend. He told them everything that went on and they trusted him wholeheartedly.
However, on the flip side, his loyalty to Pinhead was obvious. He did whatever the monster told him to and told him all the information he needed.
It is obvious the man was a double agent. But knowing who he really worked for, if anyone, is a mystery that won't be revealed for awhile.
Be patient. Soon all will be revealed...in due time...

As time passed, Rose's relationship with both Freddy and Jason grew. She realized she loved them both. But could she potentially love one more? Or...was this a situation where she loved one yet was in love with the other?
Only time could tell.

As the months continued to pass, the situation between Freddy and Jason only worsened. Only now, it was much more serious.
At first, of course they had argued what with this being a bet and both wanting to defeat the other so one could finally say he won against the other, just as they'd promised ages ago.
But now, things were becoming more complicated. They were both falling for her yet neither knew it. The only thing they both knew was they both cared for Rose and would do whatever it took to protect her. That's why they both started to sabotage each other's dates.
It was little things honestly: ruining a good dinner when the sprinklers came on, burning another dinner, a boat conveniently getting a hole in it where both parties got wet, getting chased out of a barn, the list went on.
Still, they never messed with each other to a point where things got dangerous for Rose. But they were both feeling overly cautious because of Pinhead.
Regardless, though, Rose still enjoyed every date with both men. They both genuinely cared for her and she loved spending time with each.
But meanwhile, the situation with Pinhead was steadily becoming more and more serious.

A good 3 and a half months later...
Maddix knew that Pinhead was getting impatient waiting to learn what Freddy and Jason's weaknesses were. So he finally told him the truth about everything including the girl that both men had fallen for.
"You're sure?" Pinhead growled.
"Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?"
"Well...your information has been rather...lax lately. I was starting to question your loyalty."
"Well I can assure you that I have nothing to hide or like about. I simply had to be sure of what I'd seen. The killers tend to be rather...cautious and not willing to trust."
Pinhead advanced on Maddix. "That better be the truth, Maddix, because if I found out you've lied to me...well...you know what happens when I have no need for something. Do I make myself clear?"
Maddix shuddered. "Crystal, sir."
"Good. I'm giving you one week. One week to prove to me that your loyalty to me is unquestioned. I want to know everything about this girl and their involvement with her, understand?"
"Understood. Loud and clear, master."
Pinhead nodded as his expression turned venomous. "Should your information prove worthwhile, then the real fun can begin!" His eyes flashed dangerously when he said real. "So, what do you say, Maddix?"
"As you wish."
Pinhead grinned evilly. "Now let's see if these two demons have a heart."Dun dun duhhhhhhhnnnnnnn!!
So what do you guys think? Who were those mysterious figures at the beginning? Whose side is Maddix on? What does Pinhead have planned for Rose and the killers?
Team Freddy?
Team Jason?
Or Team Pinhead?
You'll find out soon...
