"Don't you know how it feels?! To be ripped off of family and homeland?!" "This is discrimination against humanity!!" "Why?!!! We have our human rights!!!" "TO HELL WITH THE GOVERNMENT!!!" "...as to what the surviving victims from the murderous assasination chain said. Back to the studio."

At my right, she grumps and stares at me, "...Fine, I'll stop watching the news.. Here's the remote." and her face changes 180 degrees. "Thanks big bro!"

Bored, I climb upstairs, reaching my room. I roll around my bed waiting for a call, or at least something. This summer break is so slow, hot, and boring. I've even done my homework. This sucks.

Just then, I hear a loud crash- incredibly loud. Sis, unoblivious to it as well, dashes to the front door when a person suddenly opens it, and we all tumble each other to the yard.

"Ow ow ow!" she yelped as I help her up. "Who're you, mister?! No manners!"

Black vest, wet and dirty clothes, a bit ragged, aged about 15-17 y.o., height about 1,78- definitely suspicious.

Just as he's about to answer, sis runs ignorant to him and flies to the crowd. Curious, I follow her into the crowd. Before we can see anything, a police line crossess the surrounding area, and the local polices shoo us away.

"Booo! Boring!" she starts to pout as we sit on the bench at the yard. "Finally something happens, but they shoo us away!" "Finally something happens, you say? What have you done now, hm?" "Eek! N-Nothing!" She becomes panic and she can't look straight at me, how cute. But it's not like I'm going to bite her anyway.

"So, care to tell me?"

"......."

"Ooh, so your skills have improved. But still sis, being a beast tamer doesn't mean you can freely summon some Griffin at random." I said, reluctantly. "But the accident should've not because of me! I'm sure it's someone else's fault!" she insists, "My griffin is a baby, so how can it make some loud bang?!" She keeps on insisting day night so at the end of the day I tell her that I'll decide if it's true or not her fault through tomorrow's news. I mean, the accident'll be top news tomorrow, right?

"Now could you introduce yourself?" I slightly change my vision to the suspicious guy who hides behind an electric pole near my place. "You've cause quite a ruckus, mister!" Sis continues.

The guy walks out of his hiding place and bows to us suddenly, "I deeply apologize, but have you seen m'lady?" as he shows us a portrait photo of a young noblesse. She's no doubt very pretty- pretty rich.

"She's pretty!!" sis exclaimed, "I have seen her before, but not in this neighbourhood... and she's a bit... different?"

"Finally!" he replies, "Can you lead me to where you last saw her?"

Sis, using her phone GPS, lead us to a long and distant neighbourhood of the Mages. This neighbourhood was a great and lively one, but ever since the Grasholde Tragedy that occurs roughly 10 years ago, the mages are wiped off the continent- this tragedy does focus highly on mages, so lucky us, other kinds.

"I last saw her.... There!" she points at a half-ruined Mana Store. "Ah, thank you very much!" he said. Before he can leave us, I pulled his vest, "Manners. Name?" "....Sorry, I'm Chris."

We also quickly leave the Mages' neighbourhood for the sight is utterly horrid and tense, a nightmare.

(Chris' POV)

"M'lady, where are you?"

Digging up the Mana Store and around it, I search for my missing noblesse.
