Sitting here waiting for him to call back is killing me!

I went to the room door to check up on my niece and King who were fast asleep in bed. I sat down on the couch flicking through the channels when my phone rang.

Hey, this De'Erica I was just calling to talk. I just got off the phone with Block. Did you call his mom already?

Yes I did. She's upset because it's her birthday. He didn't even get to call her and tell her and that's all he been talking bout before this shit happened.

.... A hour after all the tears and talk about them being high school sweet hearts we hung up. I don't know what's wrong with this girl but telling me she had a miscarriage before their first baby was a little bit to much for me.

I hear the front door open. I get up to go see who it is.

I hear King small cry I get up to cater to his needs. He has been more alert today trying to stay up a little longer than a week ago. I play with him for a little while before washing him down since he's still to young for the tub and giving him his bottle. He stayed up and looked at tv a little while then drifted off to sleep.

I put him back in his crib and grabbed my phone. I took a couple of pictures of him before my phone started ringing.
