Erness
"You better wake up Jess or we are going to be late for school on our first day as seniors." I tell my twin.
"You got to be kidding me. It's Monday already?"
"No, it's Saturday morning. Of course it's Monday. WAKE UP!" I shout at her before heading to the bathroom and coming back with a jug full of water. I can't believe i'm actually doing this but here i am pouring water on her beautiful face.
"What the fuck?" She yells and jumps out of bed. Yeey achievement.
"Pray i don't catch you son of a bitch. You asshole." I ran away and bump on dad.
"Watch your language young lady." He tells Jess. I stand their behind him for protection.
"Sorry dad." She says politely and sticks her tongue out for me.
We head back to our rooms and prepare for school. It is our final year, senior year baby! and i couldn't be more grateful. For me, high school isn't fun. I am the unpopular twin whose popularity depends on her twin. I don't have much friends like Jess. We may be identical but we are so very different in many ways. Jess likes fame, she's into fashion and very lazy. She's the 'i can do without you type of girl' or should i say the 'Queen bee' and i am the ' all quite goody two shoe girl'
We finish preparing and take our breakfast. It's always a must for us to have a family breakfast because not everyone is there afterwards to have a family dinner so mum made it a rule to always have family breakfast before everyone departs. Dad is a doctor and mum is a lawyer which explains why they are always busy but we don't mind because Jess and i got each other and they manage to sort out all our needs which is not bad.
"You better hurry if you want me to drive you." Jess says
"You can as well as go." I tell her and she stood up leaving.
"Hey, i was just joking." I tell her. I roll my eyes. She can be a bitch at times.
I stuff the remaining cornflakes in my mouth and stand up. Taking my backpack, i bid my parents goodbye and follow my sister who is already in the car.
The reason why she has to drive me is my car is in the mechanic. I took it on Friday after a careless guy hit me and pretended he wasn't the one. I still remember how he looks like. Anyway, the mechanic called and said it would take the whole of today and i could pick it up today or tomorrow morning. Now that's bad news.
After about 15minutes, we arrived in school and boy do i regret letting my siz drive me to school? Yes. The moment we alight from the car, Jess' minions come following her gathering around her admiring her outlook like a goddess.
"I won't be going home after classes, i have to go to the mall to buy new clothes." Jess informs me.
"Wait, so how do you expect me to go home?"
"If you don't mind coming with me," She smirks.
"But you have more than enough clothes."
"I need more."
"Then take a ride there and i will go with your car home."
"No way, find a ride home. Love ya siz." She tells me as she heads to the hallway door followed by her crowd.
She didn't just do that, did she? Great! Now i'll have to find someone to ride me home. I follow from behind to the door heading to my locker.
"Hey there BFFTE," Merran comes to me. It's like everyday she comes up with a new name for me and our friendship.
Merran is my best friend. We've known each other from when we were three. People usually wonder how we can tolerate each other since we are very different. Merran is a nerd who likes tech games and all other boys stuff, this is because she's the only girl child in the house. She has a big brother in college who supposedly has a thing for me and a small brother who is eleven years old. She wears specs which makes her look gorgeous though she refuses to admit. I love her so much because she knows everything about me that i keep from my mum or my sister.
"Huh, what does that mean now?" I ask as we walk to the lockers. Her locker is opposite mine, though i wish it could be next to mine. The owner of the locker next to mine transfered, i am going to have a new locker mate.
"It's another word i came up with. It means Best Friends Forever Till Eternity. What do you think?"
"Not bad, it's ummm i say amazing." If i say i don't like it, she'll force me to start thinking of something better so i just go along. That's Merran.
"Good, i thought so too. You see, we are compatible." She insists, i roll my eyes. I swear i've heard that word for the millionth time. Not that i'm complaining but she just won't stop with that word.
"Smile," She took a selfie. "T.I.G.T.S.C you look like you've been dropped in a world of zombies." She laughs. "I thought i said smile."
"You caught me off guard."
I try to take her phone so that i can delete the pic before she posts it in her snap chat.
We like using this acronyms to talk so that people don't get what we are saying. For instance, the T.I.G.T.S.C means This Is Going To Snap Chat.
Before i could grab the phone, the bell rang and i take my books, close my locker and head to my history lesson as she heads to Geography class. First class of senior year here we go.
