I’m on my way to school, holding and playing on my phone and listening on my new blue headphone. And if you’re getting confused to where I got all this stuffs, it’s a birthday gift from my older brother when I turned seventeen last month. So, here it goes, I didn’t notice the surroundings clearly and a warm arm drag my arms suddenly.
“Yah! Are you deaf? I said stop, it hurts!” I grumble with fear
Before he could just make long talks like what mom did, I insisted to get my hands off and suddenly he stop
“Hey, Miss If you want to die, yes you can every time you wanted but not here, do it in a decent place or maybe in the rooftop of your school. You could implicate someone.” He replied angrily
“What? Are you crazy? Who the hell wants to die here? And besides I’m just only taking a selfie here, nothing bad, if you want too, then come on join me, you’re just too overacting”
“Didn’t you see? You’re in the middle of the road? Gosh what a crazy woman! Poor little nerd” he laugh get my phone and then left me alone.
I can’t help it anymore so I also stop what I am doing and then shouted.
“Hey, you stupid, bastard, yes that’s me, a lady in blue but with black rimmed big eyeglasses, braces and old fashioned clothes, everyone thought that I am a weirdo, a nerd or a girl resurrected from the past and was used to be the laughing stock of everyone, why? You already know me? Not right? So shut up! What do you think of yourself? Too handsome for me to follow on? You wish! I have lots of gadgets at home, take it, it’s all yours, and make sure to get out of my sight before I could kill you, understood?”
“Okay!” he shortly replied.
He’s familiar face reminds me of someone I know, I can sense something unto him.
I continued to walk on until I saw a beautiful place at the back part of the school where I could find the mini resort of the school. It was covered with flowers and sand of this mini sea is as white as the piece of paper I am holding on.
“What a beautiful place,” I said to myself while trying to cut a single rose in front of me
“Miss, what are you doing here? Didn’t you know, it’s forbidden? Didn’t you see the postcard here, “plucking a single flower is not encourage”, girls nowadays are too hardheaded, even a single instruction they couldn’t follow! What a stupid girl”
I faced him as if nothing happens,
“You again?” I was being shocked seeing him again and he did the same thing like I did.
“How many times I told you, get out of my sight, stop meddling with my business and focus on yours” I shouted angrily
“Miss, if don’t want to be scolded, and if you have your brain, just at least follow the rules, okay?” he sarcastically replied
“What? Okay I just have to ask since we always bump into each other and you always meddle with me, “why do you always follow me? I don’t have any idea, so you like me that much? Oh well, t’s okay, I still don’t have a boyfriend since before, maybe you could be my first, ha ha ha.” that’s my revenge to him after being so rude to me,
“Now I know, there’s still feeling girls like you everywhere! In your dreams nerd” as usual, he then left again
“Wait, wait, wait, mister, can I have my phone back, please? I still have important things to settle with that phone”
“There’s no giving back, you already give it to me”
“Give it now before I could hit you” I shouted again
“Follow me! Get it, come on, don’t be so lousy,” then he ran in a circling motion, he’s like a baby playing with a new toy,
“Chase your butt, feeling as if I would follow a moron like you! There’s no way”
“Faster nerd, before I could change my mind” he laugh and teas me up to follow him
I tried to chase and get my phone back for the sake of my precious phone not him
“Give it, uh! What the….?”
Accidentally, I hit my feet on the big stone near us and slowly I’m out of balanced, I left no other choice but to close my eyes and wait for my body to fall on the ground but gladly, a warm arm hold my waist on to put me into a comfort position.
“Eherrm!”
“Ah…eh…eh…” I couldn’t even utter a single word
“Oh…oh” then she smiled
In couldn’t help myself to calm down. I was so nervous hearing his soft words.
“Thank you”
Before I could imagine such malicious things, that bastard release his arms directly, and before I could stand up straight, I directly fall to the ground as what I expected.
“How dare you!” I slap him instead, well for him, he deserved it the most than being thanked and then walked away.
