America's Runaway (One Direction Story)

Chapter 1

Hii this is my new book and I hope you enjoy thisssss. :) This is dedicated to LottieTOMS because she told me to dedicate the first chapter to her. On the side is a picture of Destiny. I hope you like the first chapter!

 “Destiny how was your day?” my dad asked me at the dinner table.

“Fine. It would’ve been better if I actually got a birthday present, but it was fine.” I said pushing my broccoli around my plate. Before I could pick it up Jas already ate it off my plate. I scowled at her.

“I’m sorry honey, it’s just I’ve been busy and-“I cut him off.

“And you have to take care of our nation’s country I know I know. Excuse me.” I said putting my napkin in my plate and going upstairs to my room.

I went into my room and shut my door. I plugged in my head phones and listened to One Direction’s CD in my ears.

Hello, my name is Destiny Ontario. My dad is Richard Ontario, and he is the president of The United States. I live here in the White House with my dad and cousin Jasmine. My mom left me and my dad when I was a baby and Jasmine’s parents died in a car crash when she was 10. Her mom was my dad’s sister so my dad took in Jas. Me and her are very close. You see, today is my 17th birthday and I haven’t gotten my birthday present yet. My dad knew that all I wanted was to go to the One Direction concert tomorrow, but he said he couldn’t risk me going to a concert. But, the fact that he didn’t even get me a present for my birthday was ridiculous.

I found myself drifting off to sleep….

I woke up being shaken by Jas; she was in her pajamas and had a huge smile on her face. “Oh my god. Go downstairs NOW!” she squealed. I laughed and put on my slippers and went downstairs.

I got there and my dad was there with a smile on his face. “I have some exciting news for you.”

“What?” I asked.

“Well, for your birthday I got you and Jasmine One Direction tickets for tonight. You two are going alone so I expect you two to be very careful. Ok?”

I was in shock. All I could do was nod my head and smile. He handed us the tickets and went in the office.

“Destiny, WE ARE GOING TO SEE OUR BOYS IN CONCERT TONIGHT!” Jas yelled jumping up and down. I screamed and jumped with her.

“Sorry to interrupted the love fest but, breakfast is ready.” Jim, the head chef, told us. We nodded and went to the kitchen.

At the table there were scrambled eggs and bacon. We dug in and ate it all. “What time is the concert?” I asked Jas.

“6:00, its 11:45 now.” She said with her mouthful. I shook my head and laughed.

When we were done we went into my room and read some magazines. We weren’t allowed to have a Facebook or a Twitter. So, life was boring. We read and read until it was 1:00.

“Well, I’m hungry and Ellen is on soon.” Jasmine said. I laughed and we walked into the kitchen.

“What would you ladies like today?” Bobby asked us.

“Just pasta would be fine.” I smiled. He nodded, “I’ll call you when it’s ready.” We nodded and went into the living room. Well, it was sorta the living room. All it had was TV and 2 couches.
