The Time Will Come - Son Chaeyoung

The walk home

Y/n's POV
After the bell rang, we went back to class. The rest of the day is pretty normal just the teacher explaining rules and regulations of the school and giving us out schedule. Soon class ended and we can go home.

"Hey y/n,want to walk me home? Its been awhile since we've done that." Sana said to me as we were just about to head to the exit. "Yeh! Of course! We could also catch up with each other. Let me just drop off some things in my locker." I replied and she just nodded.

I was heading to my locker when I saw a group of guys gathering at one place. I minded my own bussiness until I hearl someone hit the locker. I managed to get a bit closer and hear what they were saying. "Hey, come on we should have some fun, you know getting to know each other since youre the new girl in school right?" He said and smirked. "New girl? Wait?! Chaeyoung?!?" I said in my mind thinking she was the one they were talking to.

"Uhmm..I'm sorry I don't want to. I need to go home now." I hear her say with fear in her voice like she was about to burst in tears. "Just come with us!!" The guy said and grabbed her arm.

I rushed into them and grabbed chaeyoung's arm "I'm sorry guys but we gotta go somewhere ok? Leave her be." I said to them with a slighty threatening tone. "Cause if you don't..." I paused for a little bit and looked at them one by one. "You guys might get hurt" I whispered all of those to the one hitting on chaeyoung. He let go of chae's arm and stood aside."Thanks guys!!" I said while smiling and left with chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung's POV
"You guys might get hurt" I heared y/n whisper to them and fear appeared in their expressions. "Wow..Is y/n like a bigshot or something? How can he scare them just like that" I thought in my head.Then the guys holding me let go of my arm and stood aside to make way. "Thanks guys!!" Y/n said and he left with me.

"Hey y/n! What took you so long huh?" Sana said to y/n slightly annoyed at him. "Sorry some guys were trying to "know" chaeyoung so I just talked to them" he said showing that he is a little annoyed. Sana sighed at y/n and pinched his cheek "Really y/n? You better not go get yourself into trouble again. " She said with a still annoyed but playful tone. "Hahahaha I'm sorry ok? Chae was in trouble so I stood up for her" he replied back. "I know thats why you're an awesome friend" sana said with a smile.

He then looked at me and smiled. "Hey chae! I was going to walk sana home, if you live close by we could walk you off first" he said to me. I blushed at the sudden nickname he called me "sure..I live close by just a few blocks from here" I said while slightly looking down to hide my blushing face.

"Ok then come with us" sana said and linked her arm with mine. "If youre gonna hangout with us, get used to sana being clingy all the time" he said while laughing. Me and sana laught at the same time and she kept asking me questions about me as we walked to my house.

"Hey chaeyoung, I have a question for you." Sana whispered to me and I nodded as a response. "Are you starting to fall for my bestfriend?" Sana said with a teasing tone in her voice and smirking. I shookes my head and looked down to hide the blush in my face from her sudden question. Sana giggled and said "okayy if you say so,but if you take too long I'll steal him from you" still with that teasing tone as she broke the link in our arms and then linked arms with y/n and looked back to me while smirking and gave me a playful wink.

"I don't have feelings for him right? I mean I just met him this day and don't know anything about him but he did just save me...aishh I'll worry about it when its time" I said in my mind as we reached my house.

"This is my house..Thanks for walking with me and thanks y/n for saving me earlier" I said and smiled showing off my dimple to him. I saw him blush before he avoided making eye contact with me. I giggled at how cute he "aishhh What am I thinking?" I mentally lectured myself. "I'll go now bye" I said and waved to them before entering my house.
