Losing it all

*Sabre's Point Of View*

"No, the Rainbow Town...." its gone but... Nightmare Steve can't have that much power, can he? Rainbow Steve, where is he? "Rainbow Steve!" No answer. What happened to him? "Rainbow Steve!" I call again almost crying. He can't be gone.

I hop down to the bottom of the trench where he was and I look around. "Rainbow-!" I stop as I thought I see Rainbow Steve but I just see him.

"Well... Hello, Sabre. Lost your friend I see." Nightmare Steve right in front of me.

"Oh, it's just you..." I say hatred fulled my voice.

"Sabre, you'll never find your friend, because he's already been dealt with and you will be too!" No Rainbow Steve can't be gone!

"You'll have to catch me first!" I yell running into the forest hoping to lose him so I can come back to look for Rainbow Steve again.

"Idiot..." Nightmare Steve says but I don't listen to his words.

After running a good few feet I hear lightning almost 5 feet ahead of me. I decide to rest let him go farther. After a few minutes I can barely hear the lighting so I start heading back.

As I arrive I take a final look around to realize Rainbow Steve isn't here, and I fall to my knees. He... he can't be GONE gone maybe he teleported but that's too rare and he doesn't know how to control it. I can't lose him he's all I have the only one I love.

As I walk away from the entrance I get teleported to some random place. Confused as I am I look around. Ok so nothing but how was I teleported? I can't think of how but then the answer comes circling around me. "Who are you?" I yell.

"A friend."

That thing thinks he's a friend?

"I never met you before so how are you a friend?" I question as he still runs around and we teleport somewhere else.

"Ok stop doing that fam!" I yell at him hoping he listens.

"I'm trying to help you, Sabre."

"How do you know my name?" I ask. A few moments later still no response. "Answer me!"

"I've been here the whole time, Sabre. Ever since the first time you met your first Steve."

"I never saw you though!" I yell back. I just wanted to tell my friend I love him, but I guess I'm not allowed.

"This is not the first time you saw me."

"What?" I question as I recall never meeting him.

"In the first fight you fought, you asked for the help I gave you, the help that taught you how to fight."

"Well that's total not some made up story..." I say as we teleport one final time.

"Well I enjoyed our chat, now go on and look down." As I look down I get pushed down into the water noticing a light from under the surface. What is that? I decide to swim down into a patch of air. Air under water? What is this strange place? I hop down to the ground realising that I'm trapped.

I look around but only to find a ball of ice unmelted. As I take a closer look I'm able to make out the colourful hair of my best friend.
