All isn't lost

*Sabre's Point Of View*

"Rainbow Steve!" I shout hoping he may be able to see and hear me. Should I break the ice? Will he be ok if I do? Without another second of thinking I break the ice trapping him. As he falls to the floor I try to warm him up and wake him.

As he wakes I realize how I'm holding him and I help him stand.

"Sabre, what happened, are we in the Rainbow Town?"

"It's..... it's gone Rainbow Steve.." I say as I see him tear up and I pull him into a hug.

*Rainbow Steve's Point Of View*

I start to cry, tears flowing down at a rapid pace. I can't hold it back even though I try, but I'm happy Sabre is ok. "What about Ghost Steve? Is he here?" I ask as Sabre just tears up and shakes his head. More tears flow down my cheeks. "I'm glad your here at least."

"I'm sorry Rainbow Steve," Sabre says hugging me tighter.

"It's not your fault, Sabre. I wasn't strong enough to fight him back, I wasn't strong enough to save you."

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you," Sabre said.

"I'm the one with powers!" I yell through tears.

"You lost them!" Sabre yells. "You.... don't need to save me."

I'm at lost for words, "As a Steve I thought it was my job to protect you and everyone else who can't help themselves."

"I know." Sabre knew I would protect him with my life, but not for the full reason he knows. I love him.

*Sabre's Point Of View*

I wish he wouldn't always protect me, I don't want anything to happen to him.

"Sabre, how do we get out of here?" Rainbow Steve asked me.

As I look around I notice a pile of wood, "There! We can break the wood there, could be a exit!" I yell.

As we try to break the wood down, we can see a light. We break more of the wood and run out to a sand beach and we make our way back to the top of the mountain to get a look of where we are.

At the top we only see plains and more mountains, so we decide to head to the plains. We final are a good distance away from where Rainbow Steve was trapped and we take a break. As we rest for a bit we decide to settle down in a small hut we build right next to a big and steep hill, that's when I decide I need to talk to him about my feelings.
