Storm rested his head on the soft moss. It had been hard for FrostPack to move on, since they did not exactly have an Night, but they were trying to stay strong with the snow leopards and IvyPack still near. Storm sleepily stood up and stretched his paws. In a few days, Hop was supposed to get her adult name, but they still did not have an Alpha. Storm walked sleepily over to the entrance of the cave, watching the snow fall lightly at first, then fast and hard. "FrostPack!" Storm barked. "There is a storm coming!" The wolves woke up slowly. Snow walked over to him. "Stop waking up the pack!" He growled. "But a storm is coming! We need to grab some rocks to block the entrance." Snow slowly nodded then the two wolves went out in the storm to grab rocks.

Cherry woke up to yowling wolves panicking. "What is going on?" He exclaimed. Bee ran over to him. "Storm and Snow have been collecting boulders, but they haven't come back yet!" Autumn barked, "They could be dead!" Cherry swallowed his nervousness and leaped on a rock. "No. They are not. They are risking their lives for us, so let's be grateful for them." Autumn blinked and flicked her ear. Bee nodded, proud of her son. Cherry leaped off of the rock and bounded out of the cave into the forest. "Cherry! No!" Bee yelped as he dashed away to help his friend and Beta.

Cherry kicked up snow and leaped over fallen trees as he ran. He finally saw two wolves in the distance. Yes! I've found them! He bounded up to them, excited. Then as he walked over to them, he noticed something... They were not Snow and Storm. The IvyPack wolves turned to him and leaped, pinning him to the ground. Then he saw nothing.

Storm grabbed a couple of decent stones as Snow grabbed one large stone. Snow nodded to him. "This is enough." Storm nodded and the two wolves raced away to their camp. Storm and Snow came back to camp to see all of FrostPack worried. Eclipse blinked and yipped when they came back. "Yay! They're back!" Bee blinked her welcome then looked around. "Where's Cherry?" Storm gasped. "Cherry left the cave?!" Bee nodded. "He was worried about you two." Metal stepped up. "He might have been captured!" Snow shrugged. Storm sighed. He was worried about his friend, but he had to protect the rest of FrostPack first.

Cherry woke up to see a female wolf he recognised. "Thorn!" He growled. "What are you doing here?" Thorn frowned and turned to Slate. "He's awake." I'm in IvyPack territory! Slate's tail went straight up. "I know, fool!" Thorn's ears went down and she replied, "So can I.." "No! Stay here." Thorn backed up a step while Slate walked slowly over to Cherry. "Who do we have here?" He sneered. Cherry whimpered and Slate lifted his paw and scratched Cherry's cheek. Thorn leaped in front of Cherry, blocking him from Slate. "Don't hurt him!" Why is she protecting me? Slate growled and leaped at Thorn. "Traitor!" Cherry gasped as Slate put his jaws around Thorn's neck. What should I do? Should I help her? She saved my life! But before Cherry could do anything, Slate broke Thorn's neck, killing her. "No!" Cherry turned to Slate. "This isn't over." Then he kicked Slate in the face and ran away to FrostPack camp.

Storm sat behind the boulders that were blocking the cave entrance. I hope Cherry is alright. Right as he thought that, Cherry came out of a hole he dug. "Cherry! You're alright." Cherry bounded over to him and liked him. Storm smiled and looked at Cherry's cheek. It was bleeding badly. Cherry explained everything and Storm blinked, surprised. Bee rushed over to Cherry. "I'm so glad you're alive!" Cherry smiled at his mom and trotted over to his den. Storm followed. They had survived the storm.
