Daehyun's POV

I couldn't sleep... i really felt guilty... especially now that we have been dating for almost a year!

I could not believe it, i was too late. I should have never let that monster touch my baby.

I told her i will protect her no matter what... but i was not there, because of a stupid demo test in BLOODSHED.

Was this dad's fault again?

Ever since i started highschool, i had been tortured by dad in so many ways.

But never did i know that he could harm others in order for me to obey his orders.

I never knew he would do this to me, his own son. If he could do this to me, i could do it to him too, but no one will be affected... just him...

I took a knife, a gun, and i stormed to his secret hideout.

There is no point in sneaking, he already knows when i come in.

The busy man was busy with his schedules of missions.

I threw my knife like a shuriken from the back of his shoulders. Walked towards him.

"Son, wha... what a...are you d...d...doing" he asked like has no idea.

"Payback to what you did to my girlfriend." I said while pointing a gun on his forehead.

"What?" He asked as his brows furrowed.

"She was attacked by a biting and clawing monster that looked like a normal human being." I said.

"I never hired a monster, whenever i hire a killer, it's always a sharpshooter." He said this made me gasped.

"You liar!" I shouted at him. "You started torturing me ever since i met her, it could've been you... you didn't want me to have a girlfriend." I said as my tears started to form.

"It's true that i didn't want you to have a girlfriend in your early stages of training." He coughed blood

"Why?" I kicked his side. My eyes filled with anger.

"At some point you will be distracted, might as well protect her than you should yourself, but believe me daehyun, i never want to harm your girlfriend, i just want to scare her and break up with you."

"Well, that sir, will never" i kept the gun, "ever will happen."

"I'm sorry if your girlfriend is badly harmed by this so called monster, but, i am innocent... why would i even do that?"

I was completely shattered, i almost killed my father with a very wrong notion. I rememberred his missions and those people he hired, he was always open to me about his career and how thrilling it was.

Even if we bonded in a very different way than others, instead of playing with water guns, we played with REAL guns, instead of playing frisbees and boomerangs... everything is real... swords, bombs... real weapons...

"Remember, i even gave you that bunny wrist watch and bunny pendant to protect her." What he said made me so guilty of trying to kill him. I looked away.
