My sister walked in hungover and about to puke. " What the heck is this?" I held up the bag of weed. " That's that's not mine." My sister said smelling like she puked up vodka. " Oh really then why did I find it under a bathroom tile hidden, and also where you keep your pack of camels. " Listen Hunter, I can explain, it's not what it looks like. " No, it's exactly what it looks like. I thought I could trust you to stop when mom and dad died. Apparently I was wrong. I walked away silently but fire bursting in my head. I went to my bed and laid there wondering what I was doing in Riverside and why I stayed there with Dylan. Should I leave? Should I run away? Should I go? Tears running down my face as I thought about these three questions. Dylan walked in the room and sat down on the floor in the corner of the room. "I miss mom and dad Hunter." Said my sister with mascara running down her cheek. " I miss them telling me to stop drinking and stop going to party's all the time and to stop doing drugs." " Me too, Dylan, me too." The morning came and Dylan was headed to work and I was headed to the pool. I had my Brad Paisley shirt on that I found in the garbage. It was basically my bathing suit. " Hey stud." Said the boy in the rainbow shorts. Aka gay boy. I didn't know his name but he seems to think that we are best friends. " What up gay boy." I didn't know his name but I'm pretty sure it was Albert. " Whats your name again?" I asked. "Albert." He said in a high pitch 24 year old dude voice. " As I floated in the pool with an alligator floaty right by my side I thought about when my mom used to float in the pool acting like she was dead. She would scare everyone and tick my dad off. I remember when my dad would come home with dirty jet ski gasoline all over his shirt. As I thought about the interesting things about my parent I realized that these past two years I have been waiting for them to come back but they never have. Will the pain ever go away?, I thought to myself. As I thought to myself about this question like I always do I was caught off guard by the 12 year old little girl that always comes to the pool. " Hey Hunter." Said the little girl in the Taylor swift shirt. " How do you know my name?" " I know your sister Dylan." " Shes trouble you know." " What do you know about trouble?" I said with a laugh. " Trust me, I know a lot." She said. "What's your name?" I asked with a smile. " Dustyn." She said with confidence. "Cool name." "How is it cool, it's a boys name."
