Mara P.O.V.

Gunshots ring out like a bell, I grab my gun all I heard was shells falling on the concrete real fast. Sorry, but gunshots rang through the air, my guys shooting at other guys. "Ok guys, Queen B is in the motherfucking building." I shot two guys in the head and burst into the fight. Shot after shot, gunmen went down. I felt awesome, killing people was my forte after all. I ran up to Liam, "Yammie," I shot a guy down, "You know you aren't right-handed." He laughed, shooting some guy in the chest. "Alright, Team 1 take out the guys on the left. Team 2, guys on the right. Team 3 have my team's back. This is a small gang, I don't understand how this all went to shit." Agreements were made over the walkies, and we went to work. "Boss, we have a problem. Another gang just came into the mix!" I groaned, "Team 5, enter the field, help out Team 1. Team 6, same for you, but for Team 2. The other gang is tryna circle us, whoever isn't part of the Knights, take them out." "Sir Yes Sir!" A chorus of laughter could be heard. "If you get hurt, hurt em back. If you get killed, walk it off."

We circled around the smallest gang, my sniper guy keeping an eye on the leader. "Diggory, Diggory, Diggory. What have I told you? This is our turf. Ain't no way in Hell," my guys, gals and non-binary pals laughed, "you could overthrow the Knights." I slow clapped, "Props to you for trying, but it was stupid. You lost all yer men and the gang you became buddies with." I aimed my pistol at his head, "Now, you also lose your life." I pulled the trigger. My gang cheered, "Go Mara, Go Mara, Go Mara, Go Mara." Everyone chanted, and I bowed. "Now, get these bodies in piles so we can burn them. But take their guns and ammo, make sure you take whatever you need." I walked out, to the bus and opened the compartment doors, taking out the lighter fluid and salt. Something cut my arm, the sound of a bullet hit the side of the bus. "The bus!" I checked all over, making sure nothing happened to it. I then made my way over to the girl who tried to shoot me "You son of a bitch." I shot her in the face, blood splattered on me even more. After I was finished, I dragged her corpse inside and we burned the corpses. "Ahhh, I just love this part." Nyela had a spaced-out smile on her face. "What smells like fried chicken?" Everyone laughed.

"Alright, guys we did great tonight. We all get a week off!" "OH FUCK YEAH!" Everyone shouted out in glee, it was an amazing sight to see. Some drenched in blood, even if it wasn't their own. People wrapped up in bandages, using crutches. It's sad to say that it's become a normal sight for me, but that's life. "Alright, calm down, calm down." Everyone still cheered and shouted, my erraticness took over. I took the silencer off of my gun and shot up at the ceiling, "I SAID CALM DOWN!" Everything went dead silent, people were shocked, I hadn't shouted in a while. "Now, turn in for the night. Dismissed." I walked out, heading to my room.

It was now Monday, my arm was wrapped up. "Hey, Mara... I tried to text you about the project, but there wasn't an answer." I then remembered that my phone got smashed by the one gang. "Shit, I'm sorry Oli. My phone got smashed. I got in a... fight yesterday. The bastard crushed my phone." Oliver laughed, "That's shitty. But yeah, I wanted to tell you that my mom saw the drawing and threw it out. She thought it was a doodle." I growled, "It was coloured in, how could she possibly think it was a doodle?" Anger bubbled in me, that was not good. "Hey, Hey Mar-Mar. Calm down." Liam came rushing over, "Just breathe, don't freak out." I sighed, "Shit. Ok, Hi." Oliver had a confused look on his face, "Are you ok?" I nodded a little, "Sort of." I smiled sadly at him, "But I'm used to it. Now c'mon, we're gonna be late for class." I grabbed his hand, the bell rang, we both laughed and we booked it down the halls. I'm pretty sure both of our faces were red. I tried knocking on the classroom door, and I squeezed Oliver's hand in nervousness. He squeezed my hand back, "Didn't Mr.Greene say we were at the library?" I burst out laughing, bringing my hand to my stomach, but not realizing that my hand also had Oliver's hand in it. I dropped his hand, "S-sorry." I flushed a light red, my freckles standing out. I looked down but still looked up at Oliver through my lashes.
