Mara P.O.V.

"Hey Mara, wake up." I looked up and saw Oliver smiling, in his regular clothes, "You were up half the night so I thought I'd let you sleep." I looked down and saw my bear in my arms, I laughed, "Did you get this from the bunk room?" He nodded, "I did. I asked Nyela to find it for me. Since I don't live here and I know you wanted to still have some privacy." I grinned, "Thanks sweetheart, that's really nice of you. Wait, what time is it?" He checked his phone, "It's 15:26." I gasped, "Half after 3?" He nodded, "You needed your sleep Babes, I just watched t.v in the main room while you were asleep. Also, Mr.Montgomery came over earlier, asking about... how do you pronounce it, uh- Il prossimo incontro, dovremmo discutere dei guerrieri. (In the next meeting, we should discuss the Warriors) I think that's correct." I nodded, "You said it correctly, just work on rolling your R's." He laughed, "Alright then. Now you need to get food into you and take your meds." I groaned, "Shit ok. Did the gang take care of you while you were awake? Or did you starve?" He laughed a little more, "No, Nyela and Codey took care of me." I sighed in relief, "Thank Satan." I got up and put on some sweat pants, fixed the braids in my hair and we went down stairs to the kitchen.

I smiled at Elizabeth, "Have a good sleep?" She smiled, "Yes I did. I also checked the whiteboard and a majority of everyone wrote down the snacks that they want." I nodded, "That's good. Have your hearing aids been fixed yet?" She shook her head, "No. I have to get new ones." I frowned, "Take the money out of my account, I can pay for them for you." She shook her head again, "Mara, that would be over 7 thousand dollars." I shrugged, "I have enough." I went over to the fridge and got out some food, "Ollie, you want anything?" He thought for a second, "Got any dill pickles?" I scoffed, "Why wouldn't we?" I gave him the jar and started making some scrambled eggs, "I will be gone for a couple of days. I have a supply run, and we go to two cities over. We take a van and just buy everything there. It's way too risky to have it all shipped here." Oliver nodded, "But how do you get the money?" I debated, "Well we have a lot of members with jobs, plus we do things that you shouldn't know about." I plated my food, "Now, I'll be leaving tomorrows tomorrow." He pouted, "I'll be alone." I laughed, "You have so many friends at school, I think this will be good for us. We see each other every day basically. Plus, in my line of ~Work~ you'll need to be used to not seeing me." Quotations around Work. I started eating, tuning out Oliver's complaining.

Two days later

Oliver left a couple of hours ago, Mercedes and I were getting the van ready to go. "Hey Merc, light me a cigarette, please." They took one out of the pack, light one, and passed it to me, "Dear Jebus I missed this." I took a toke, blowing the smoke out. Mercedes laughed, "Share Mara." I handed her the cigarette, and everyone got in. "Pass it around." We all took puffs, driving to our first store, two cities over. "I think it's smart to go somewhere farther, we don't have the constant constant threat of other gangs there. I mean, it's still there, but not as much." I laughed, "Yeah, But Janet, you need to keep your mouth shut at the checkup line. Last time, you almost blew our cover." Janet nodded, "Sorry Mar-Mar. I will be quiet this time." I smiled, "Good Girl. Now, let's get check into the hotel and then start shopping." We parked the van and we checked into the hotel. "Two queen beds please." I gave him a fake id and credit card, "Alright, you'll be in room 123." I nodded and winked, "Thanks, Hun." All four of us walked up to our room and placed our stuff down. "Alright, Elizabeth, put your pistol under your mattress." She nodded, "Ok." I smiled, "Janet and Mercedes, put 3/4 of the cash in the safe. Code is whatever spells Hell." They both nodded, and I put the bags by the beds. "Did someone get a picture of the list?" They all groaned, "No." I sighed, "Hey Siri, Text Nyela." "What do you want to say?" "Take a picture of the list and send it to me." "Ready to send?" "Yes Please." "Ok, I'll send it." "Thank you" Mercedes cooed, "You say please and thank you to Siri?" I shrugged, "I'm polite." She laughed, "And I'm not?" I shook my head, "You don't use manners with Siri." We finished up everything and went back to the front desk. "Hey Hun, we don't want housekeeping in our room. We have a surprise for our friend who works here. She works this floor, for housekeeping and I want it to be special for her." The concierge nodded with a smile, "Ok then, I'll let Ms.Montgomery know." I smiled a little, "Thank you." We hopped inside the van, "Wish we had a cooler looking automobile. This makes me feel like a soccer mom."
