assistance | david + natalie (not finishing)

Part 7

It was the next day, Natalie went to the airport and picked Logan up and they were going to be out all day. All I could think about were my urges from last night. I can't believe I wanted to kiss my childhood best friend.

Josh was coming over to film a mukbang. I couldn't keep my thoughts locked up, I had to say something and Josh was the perfect person to tell.

Josh walks in and the smell of chipotle fills the air, my stomach growls wanting the food.

"David, are you ready" he says with a smile,

"Yeah, I am"

He places the food on the glass table and I put the camera on the tripod. We answered questions from twitter and after awhile I was stuffed. I put my hands on my stomach, trying to push my burps out and then I lay on the floor in pain. Josh said goodbye to the camera and switched it off, this was my chance.

"Josh, can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, of course buddy"

I force myself to get up from the floor and I sit on the sofa with Josh. We sat silently for a few minutes. Josh was patient as he could tell I was nervous.

"You can tell me anything" he reassures, "When you're ready"

I could feel my heart beat faster so I took a deep breathe.

"Well, there's this girl" I hesitate,

Josh jumped into the air with excitement, it's as if he won the lottery.

"Tell me everything"

I smile, "Okay, okay"

I took another deep breath and told him about last night without mentioning Natalie.

"Me and this girl, we went to the roof of the apartment and watched over the city. It began to rain and she got cold so I gave her my jacket"

"David!" Josh interrupts, "This is like a movie"

"Not really" I say with a nervous laugh,

"Yes!"

I continue with my story and I tell him about how I looked at her and how I felt the urge to kiss her. I can't believe that I was so nervous about telling him, he was so supportive and happy for me.

Josh pulled his phone out, I didn't think really think it about.

"When did this happen?" he asked me,

"Last night"

His eyes widened, "Natalie! You're talking about Natalie"

My stomach dropped, I felt like I was going throw up. How the fuck did he know? Could he read minds?

"Why do think that?" I ask him trying to hide the fact that I was nervous.

"Well, you told me you were going to film something with Natalie"

Josh saw the uncomfortable expression on my face and immediately apologized to me.

"I'm sorry"

"Why are you apologizing to me?"

"Because of my assumptions"

I took another deep breath, I was going to tell him.

"Well, your assumptions were right" I stutter.

Josh's smile grew bigger and he pulled me into a hug.

"Do you like her?" he asked,

"That's weird, She's one of my best friends"

"It's not weird. Some people fall in lov-"

I cut him off, "Not love"

"Sorry, fall in like with their best friends"

We both laughed.

"She has a boyfriend and i'm not sure if i'm fully over Liza yet"

"I'm not trying to be harsh, but you two broke up forever ago"

"I know, I know" I say.

I can't be bothered writing this part all over again so i'm ending it there. What happened before wattpad rudely deleted my work was that Josh says that Logan is a total asshole and then later Natalie comes home with Logan and Logan spots David's heart eyes as he looks at Natalie. Okay!
