Chapter 7

We had dinner later at night followed by some faint discussions regarding my trainings. I was hella excited and somewhat nervous too. The fact that Jungkook is going to train me budge me a bit. But Jin accompanying me gave me relief.

It was 10pm when Jin got some call and went outside in the lawn to talk leaving me and Jungkook alone. We were sitting in the living room on the couch across each other. I kept my gaze down on my lap fully aware of him staring at me like a hungry wolf. But I continued to ignore. There was an awkward silence between us and I was praying that Jin would come back soon so that the tension would be lessened.

After a while, I dared to peak at him through my long lashes. He was busy watching some random news on TV. I finally shot my head completely up to glance over him. He layed lazily on the couch with one hand resting on the arm of the couch and other stroking his chin with his long and slender fingers. He wore a black sweatpant and a grey T-shirt. His gaze was focused on the TV. I wasn't giving any interest over what the reporter was speaking. I was busy in admiring the ever lasting beauty sitting in front of me right now.

I was still staring at him. Suddenly I heard the reporter rambling about something that caught my attention.

"Three days back a severe murder took place in the house of a very renowned family. The murder took place in the middle of the night. The victim was none other than the owner of Park Enterprises. The house was found in fire but luckily only front portion was burnt. Three dead bodies were discovered which was claimed to be Mr. and Mrs. Park and other one still not defined. The day after the incident, the brother of Mrs. Park, Mr. Choi Ahn took care of the funeral. The mystery still lies on as the only daughter of the Park family went missing. The police and officials are still working on that and the company is temporarily given in hands of Mr. Choi Ahn. Stay tuned for further details till... "

The news shattered me into pieces. It helped me with nothing but to ignite the fire inside me thousand times more. I didn't realized until I felt warm liquid flowing down my cheeks that I was crying. I felt a hand on my shoulder which was giving me warmth. I closed my eyes shut and waited for myself to calm. I felt weak. I wanted to be alone. The hand on my shoulder comforted me and honestly I relaxed a bit.

How can they kill them without even thinking once? Don't they have a heart? What did they wanted from my father? I wanted so badly to fight back but I felt weak. My head started spinning and my body started shaking. I was seeing shimmers in front of my eyes and instantly it was all black and I fell limp on the couch.

*Jungkook's POV*

I stood from the couch across the table and saw her crying. This is very hard for her. I know the feeling. I know what was going inside her right now. I was afraid to go near her. Jin hyung came from backyard instantly when he heard the headline and tried to comfort Y/n. I wanted to hold her in my arms, hug her tight and wanted to tell her everything would be fine but I was glued at my spot. My legs working against me.

My heart ached seeing her in this condition. I was fighting my inner battle when she was in that state. Suddenly she started shaking and fell lump on the couch unconscious. I panicked and rushed over to her. Her body was cold and sweating.

"Fuck, she's cold." I cursed under my breath.

"Take her to her room." Jin hyung said with worry in his voice.

I nodded and slid on hand behind her knees and other one over her waist to carry her bridal style. She was showing no moves that scared me to death. I called out for Kara who was in the kitchen to bring a hot water with a damp cloth. I stepped inside her room and walked across over the bed. I laid her carefully on the bed. She was looking peaceful. Only her slow breathing proved she's alive. Her sweat was non stop. Her shaking somehow came to halt.
