Knight of Remnant

Arrival

A warp portal opened in the emerald forest. Deep in the forest stood a 40 foot tall metal giant, armed with a giant chainsaw and Battle-cannon. Looking around it advanced, Grimm avoided the massive metal machine. It moved around, before bowing up a cave, having trap grimm inside.

-meanwhile-

Team RWBY was called to the office of Ozpin. They stood in the elevator.

"This seems a bit cliche, why can't he just message us what he wants to say?" Blake asked.

"I'm not, why do we go on an actual training mission outside of Beacon." Weiss said.

The doors opened, and the team walked out and moved to Ozpin's desk.

"We have picked up energy readings and visual reports of a strange machine moving around the Emerald forest. You will be sent via Bullhead to find this strange source of energy." Ozpin said.

"Why don't you ever just message us this?" Ruby asked.

"'It makes it more interesting." Ozpin said.

"Told you." Yang joked.

The team went into the elevator and waited.

"The least they could do is give us some epic music." Ruby said.

"This isn't some show." Weiss said.

The team reached the ground floor, and went to a platform. Climbing in the bullhead, they flew towards the emerald forest.

"Ho.......ly.........cow." Ruby said, looking out the window.

The entire team saw the massive walking machine, the weapons not active, but still menacing.

The massive machine turned, looking up, before stopping. It started it's course towards beacon, blasting a path with it's massive cannon arm.

"That's not good." Blake said.

"No it is not." Ruby said.

"We have to stop it." Weiss said.

"I have an idea, you know that Gregory Lucas film, with the Giant walkers?" Yang asked.

"Yeah, Star Battles, the Imperials retaliation." Ruby said.

"You want to trip it?" Blake asked.

"Hey, it worked in the move, shouldn't it work here?" Yang asked.

",it won't you idiot." Weiss yelled.

"We have to do something." Ruby said.

Ruby drew crescent rose and took aim. Shooting the giant metal top the round bounced off.

"Nothing." She said.

"We need to do something." Weiss said.

"We could at least try my plan." Yang said.

"We're would we get something like a strong and powerful cable?" Blake asked.

"The carrier cable in the back of this?" Yang said.

Yang grabbed the cable and threw it, hooking a leg. The bull head flew around, slowly tying the giant machine up, and the line was cut, by a chainsaw.

"That didn't work." Weiss said.

They flew over and jumped on the top of the large machine, and looked for a panel. Eventually, Weiss found it and opened it. Inside was a human like entity with a tube connected to the back of their neck and back. They pulled him out and the giant machine stopped. They looked at the pilot, and took off the helmet, seeing a young child, with a symbol over his eye, like it was burned on.
