𝚂𝚘𝚏𝚝 (𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚋𝚢𝚗) <3

PART 2

Daniel and his mom had set off on the road. After it took him and his mom and eternity to pack they finally left at "9:32 am". Daniel hates being on the road especially this road because it leads to a place he didn't want to be. LA. He didn't get the teen craze over the place. It was just like any other place. He knew he would never say that to any teenage girls though because he didn't want them to kill him. He didn't plan on dying just yet. Daniel and his mom had been on there own for a while considering his dad died when he was 5 he only ever got to experience anyone in a family way but his mom in that kind of way. Daniel never minded but sometimes he did wonder what it would be like to have a dad and siblings. When they eventually reached LA, Daniel was passed out in the back seat until his mother woke him up.

Daniels Mom - Earth to Danny?
Daniels Mom - Hello?
Daniels Mom - Danny?

Daniel woke up after the numerous calls made by his mother. He looked up to her and said "Yes?" in a groggy voice looking like he had slept on the side of a rock because half of his face was red from laying it on the seat.

Daniels Mom - We're here!
Daniel soon shot up and looked out the window. To his surprise the house was really nice and way better then his old one. It had two floors and was painted gray on the outside with white lining and white patio. He grabbed his stuff quickly out of the car and ran out of the door. As soon as he reached the porch he opened the door and saw a beautiful interior inside. He may not like where he is but he loved the home he now lived in. It had 4 bedrooms which was awesome because Daniel really wanted a room to set his singing equipment up in. This was awesome! He had to admit it. As soon as he picked his room, he got all of his boxes and brought them up to his room. he unpacked most of them but it was still kind of late and he wanted to sleep early considering he was starting his new school tomorrow at 12:00.
Daniel ran to find his mom who was setting up things in the living room with the U-HAUL guy.

Daniel - This place is so awesome!

Daniels Mom - I told you You'd like it!

Daniel - I'm sorry i was so mean to you.

Daniels Mom - Well don't worry honey because i have a way you can make it up.

Daniel - Anything you need!?

Daniels Mom - I need you to give this goodie basket to the house in front of ours!

Daniels heart sank. He hated new people. He was extremely shy. He hated the thought of walking over there and giving them the stupid goodie basket.

Daniel - Mom! Really?!

Daniels Mom - Yes Danny!

Daniel - We're the new ones! Shouldn't they be giving us goodie baskets!

Daniels Mom - Please just do it Danny.

Daniel still upset about what he had to do went upstairs found a hoodie and shoes, put them on and walked out the front door onto the porch.

Daniel - Alright daniel you can do this. Just walk over there, introduce yourself , give them the basket and be done.

He walked over to the house across from them repeating those words in his mind reminding himself that he can do it. As he was on there porch, he repeated the words once more in his head and knocked three times in a row. thud thud thud. Daniel stood there nervously staring at his shoes the door began to open. He looks up from his feet to see a tall, blonde haired boy standing at the door.

Daniel - Um hey i'm Daniel. I just moved in next door.

Corbyn -  Hi my names Corbyn Besson. This is my house. Let me-

Daniel cut him off

Daniel - Oh no it's cool. I actually just came over here to give y'all this.

Daniel says as he picks up the goodie basket.

Corbyn - Wow thanks! What school are you gonna go to around here and what year?

Daniel - Um i think it's called Fridge High School and i'm a sophomore.

Corbyn - That's crazy! I go to fridge and i'm a sophomore too!

Corbyn's eyes lighting up at the situation made Daniel giggle a little bit.

Daniel - Well at least i'll know someone there.

Corbyn giggled and they made eye contact for a good 10 seconds before Daniel cut it short by picking up the basket once again and handing it to Corbyn.

Corbyn - I'll see you around Danny.

Daniel smiles and walked away. Feeling proud of the friend he had just made.

He walked inside and told his mom and then ran upstairs to his room. He took off his clothes and  laid down on his bed. He got up and turned off the light and snuggled up in his bed. 

He thought maybe this won't be to bad        after all.
