PART 8

Corbyn and Daniel where now laying down on the floor right on the edge of a cliff staring out at L.A. Daniel had taken Corbyn here because he knew that he had to find a way to calm him down. Daniel thought that the path might lead to a crazy waterfall or something considering it was the middle of the woods and he had no idea where he was going, he had only been here a day. Daniels thoughts where closed while he looked at the view from the small overbite they where laying on. It was beautiful. It was a huge breeze from the whole city. The view was open and there was no buildings or homes. It was just a huge sparkling light blue spring. There where animals hopping walking and running around. It was like the sun hit all the right places causing the whole prospect to look fanciful. He was sitting there, legs hanging down, for what felt like hours until Corbyn finally said something.

He looked out into the horizon and said to Daniel with soft sorrowful words "I'm sorry."

Daniel looked over awestruck that he even spoke, he waited a few seconds and looked away from corbyn and back onto the horizon and whispered to him "For what?"

Corbyn looked over with a velvety but quick smile "Taking you to that random cabin."

Daniel plunked down on the grown now half hanging of the cliff. He had no ide what to say. His mouth tried to speak but it felt as if his tongue was tied in a knot. Corbyn let out a breathy sigh and looked at Daniel with droopy yet wide eyes.

"You wanna know why I even wanted to go anywhere with you, let alone take you to the woods?"

Daniel glanced at Corbyn to only hear the raspiness in his voice and the seriousness in his eyes. Daniel spoke like he had been waiting to hear Corbyn to say that for years. "Please."

Corbyn glances down and spoke slowly and short breathed " You are one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I have only known you for one day. I wanted to go somewhere with you because.... well..... you seem like at this point in my life one of the only people who wouldn't let me down and actually want to talk,hang out, and be my friend. I know I have Zach, Jack , and Jonah but Jonah acts like my mom and and Jack and Zach barley have enough time to look at me because they're to busy sticking their tongues down each other's throats."

Daniel let out a small giggle. He knew the the things Corbyn said where true not just the part about Jonah and Zach and Jack. Which he could confirm are true because Jonah won't get off their backs and Zach and Jack... let me just say i don't wanna know what happens when they aren't in public. He could tell Corbyn meant it because i f the light in his eyes when he spoke.

Daniel rolled into a sitting position and got close to Corbyn. He quickly wrapped his hands around Corbyns torso and pulled him in for a hug. Daniel felt so alive in that moment. Corbyn wrapped his arms around Daniel too, embracing one another.

Daniel whispered in Corbyns ear "You have no reason to be sorry. I can't wait to hang out with you Corbyn."

Those words made Corbyn happy. Daniel pulled back from the hug and stood up. He reached his hand out for Corbyn to grab. Corbyn took Daniels hand and started to stand up. Once he was on his feet he looked at Daniel and said "Thank you Daniel." He softly spoke back and said "It's nothing, really."

They walked back to Daniels car having short conversations but nothing to crazy. They both hopped in the car and Daniel started it. They drove down the rocky road and back to Daniels since school was already out.

As they get out of the car Corbyn looks at Daniel and speaks "See you tomorrow Seavey."

Daniel grins at the way his says it and replies boldly "Can't wait for you to be my tour guide again Besson." Corbyn blushed with a big grin on his face and walked to his house across the street with his hands in his pockets.

Daniel hated to say it but Corbyn had a nice butt.
