"Maybe another time, I'm not feeling too risky today. It may be the fact that I barely know you, and I don't want my first time being drunk to be with strangers. What if i do something embarrassing?" I ramble on as Sawyer looks down out me and let's out a small chuckle.
"What's the worst you can do?" Sawyer questions with an amused smirk on his face, looking quite cute my I add.
"Get completely wasted and blackout and die, that's the worst. The most probable is that I embarrass myself, which I also do not want to do." I reply smirking right back. With the doctor pepper in hand I brushed by him to go find Lisa and Parker.
"Wait I was only joking," Sawyer says sounding almost let down, "I apologize if I took it too far, you wanna dance?"
I nod and take his outreached hand, and as I do that he interlaces our fingers, leading me to the dance floor. When we finally arrive at the place where everyone else is dancing he drops my hand and grabs my waist, locking eyes with me. His piercing blue eyes are hard to look away from. My hands snake around his neck as he tightens the hold on my waist, pulling me closer to him, only then do I realize that there isn't even a slow song playing. So much for not embarrassing myself.
"Why are we dancing like this when the song is not a slow song?" I inquire never taking my eyes off his.
"Nothing fun ever comes out of being ordinary, princess," he replies as I feel his left thumb move up and down on my waist as we sway to the music.
I simply smile and lean my head towards his shoulder, once I meet his shoulder my eyes flutter closed. The booming sound of the base of whatever song is playing and Sawyer's heartbeat thump in my ears. His hot breath meets my neck as he exhales a sigh and I feel content. I could stay here forever. Slowly dancing with a boy I met yesterday to an upbeat song.

After dancing the night away, and not only slow dancing, Sawyer and I were pretty exhausted. The party had transformed into a more party game setting. People are huddled in groups playing truth or dare, beer pong, or even scrabble. Weird choice, I know."River, truth or dare?" Lisa questions from across the circle.
"Truth," I say after a few seconds of contemplation. My goal at this party was least embarrassment as possible, and picking dare would murder that goal.
"If you ruled the world what would be your first law?"
That was hard, what even would I name my world? But then it clicked, my favorite hole in the internet to fall into, feminism. So I would have to say something along the lines of that. "Everyone is to be treated and respected equally."
Everyone seems to agree with that and they prompt me to ask the next person. "Parker, truth or dare?"
"Dare!" He replies and a millisecond, and then I realize I have no dare to tell him.
"Um..... I dare you to do 7 minutes of heaven in the closet with Lisa." I prompt while smirking at my roommate.
"No problemo, someone start the timer," Parker responds while getting up and grabbing Lisa's hand.
I only giggle at my red faced roommate/best friend as she is dragged by the cute neighbor into the closet. Almost forgetting that Sawyer is sitting right next to me.
"You know that that's just going to come back to haunt you the next time it is either of their turns, you will get to enjoy 7 minutes in heaven with one of us," Sawyer turns to me with a genuine smile on his face, while letting out an airy chuckle.
"Oh well, I just hope whoever they pick is hot." I reply back, and cringe at the moaning we can hear fro the closet. "Gross!"
Another chuckle comes from Sawyer's mouth as he leans in closer to me, "you basically caused that."
I can't help but feel embarrassed by the discomfort I caused all of us, and when the 7 minutes was finally up I almost cheered in relief.
---
River, truth or dare?" Parker smirks about as much as humanly possible, as he questions me. I knew this was coming, but who says I have to pick dare? No one does!
"Truth," I reply as I grin triumphantly to myself.
"Come on River, you're no fun, are you always going to pick truth? Lisa questions me in a teasing way, and I know that she isn't going to give up, so I decide that I have to.
"Fiiinnneeeee, dare." I whine looking at Lisa, as she smirks and rolls her eyes.
"Great!" Parker cheers enthusiastically, "go make out with Sawyer in the closet, oops, I mean 7 minutes in heaven with Sawyer in the closet."
I can't say I'm surprised, and honestly there are worse situations to be in, but my stomach still dropped when I heard those words.
"Let's go princess," Sawyer says casually as he gets up, and once he does he offers his hand. I gladly accept and he pulls me up with what seems like no effort.
"Thanks"
He nods his head, leading me hand in hand to the closet, and when he arrives there he holds the door open a for me. I could have sworn he saluted Parker too, but that just might be my imagination.
Sawyer follows me in and as soon as we are both inside the cramped closet he shuts the door behind us and once again his hands find my waist. "So princess, how would you like to spend your 7 minutes in heaven with me?" He asks, and even though I can barely see the outline of his lips, I can just tell he is smirking.
"I'd like to wipe that smug smirk off your face."
He moves his face to the right of mine, so close that I can feel his breath on my ear, and he whispers, "Oh, harsh princess, but I think I know what you mean."
Before I even register what he said his lips slam against mine, all the previous books I had read were far from my mind, but all I could think was that this kiss is definatley not a soft and gentle kiss. It more felt like he was so needy, and only I could please him.
I eventually stopped being so flustered and kissed back. I felt so full of need and desire. Mine and his lips moved in harmony, and when we pulled away to breathe my heart skipped a beat. My hands found their way into his hair, and I was fulfilling my dream of running my fingers through it.
Once I had caught my breath I raised my lips up to greet his again, this time more slow and steady. Our lips worked in harmony and when his tongue slid across my bottom lip, asking for entrance I granted it. Our bodies were pressed as close as they could be as his tongue explored my mouth and his hands went up and down on my back. Simply pulling at me even though I am as close as I can possibly get.
I had only kissed a few boys in my life time, but Sawyer was by far the best. I only hope I dont regret this.
