The beaded curtain leading to the back tattooing room rustles as I am looking at the final product in the mirror.

"This better be good if you are interrupting me, Jaycob."

"Kelvin is here to continue his session."

The detail put into the brain is amazing. It looks realistic.

"Send Kelvin back and take Champagne out. Give her the tattoo care instructions."

I turn my head. Guess that's my cue to leave. I look at Jaycob and resist the urge to pitch a fit. He's the guy that stole my locket in the park.

His recognition of me is clearly taking a little longer.

"Thank you, Jack."

"No problem, kid. Tell Archer I say hi."

"Will do."

I unhappily follow Jaycob through the beaded curtain. He brings me to the front desk.

"Jack is waiting for you."

A bald man with tattoos covering his face nods. He makes his way back to Jack as I wait impatiently for Jaycob to give me my instructions so I can bolt.

He rummages through a standing drawer unit next to the desk. It takes him a sec, but he pulls out a plastic bag of supplies. He extends his hand, giving me the bag.

"Thanks."

I start walking towards the door.

"Wait! Don't you want to hear what you need to do?"

"Nope. I have other family members that have tattoos, thanks!"

I push open the door and exit the tattoo parlor.
