Title: Under the Influence
Author: PureAwesomeness67
Category: Teen Fiction, Romance
Status: Completed
Summary: Charlotte “Charlie” Crawford is practically the definition of a nerd. She gets extraordinary grades, works at her family’s comic book store, and most importantly, she never gets into trouble—ever. Hunter Greene is supposedly the epitome of a bad-boy. He gets into fights, is on a first name basis with the school principal, and most importantly, he is infamous for breaking the rules. When Charlie is assigned to be Hunter’s tutor, she doesn’t think she will be able to handle him and his antics. But after the two warm up to each other, Charlie realizes that Hunter isn’t at all who everyone else thinks he is. High school life is going to be one tumultuous roller coaster ride for Charlie and Hunter, but together they might be able to make it through what could be the ride of their lives—especially since they’ll be under each other’s influences.
Hey guys! So school started up again :( Hopefully that excuses my lack of books read, I haven't had much time. I was able to sneak in time here and there to read this book and I'm very glad I did. I'm always pretty iffy about books under 20 chapters because some can be rushed, lack detail, or have an incomplete story line. This was not one of those books! The chapters were long and I really loved the characters. Nothing was rushed (even though the author says the last chapter was...it was still spectacular!) and the characters and their stories were well developed. The author seemed absolutely lovely (that may be partially because I have a lot of the same interests...or just because she's cool) and she has great talent. I really recommend you to go and check this book out! It's a super cute read with "not millions" of reads and really deserves some love, because it really is amazing :) The author has some other books as well so go and see those too while you're there!
Just really quickly, I need some opinions. First off, I was really debating on whether to add this to this review because I felt it was maybe rude but I also didn't want to make a another "chapter" just for this next question. So, this may be removed from the previous recommendation if I feel it needs to be. My question: I have been debating on writing my own story (ies) for a while now and I have finally come up with a few ideas. Should I start writing a story and see how it goes? Do you want me to share my ideas/titles? I know it's hard to tell writing style through a review but it's something I've been contemplating often due to stories I begin but don't get far in because of my disinterest, plus I adore literature. So I thought, hey! Maybe I should just give it a shot...If you have any opinions on anything comment or shoot me a message. Thanks for reading!
