After a long period of hiding, Dean finally came out to Sam and told him about Cas. To his surprise, Sammy claimed he already knew. Everything was fine.  Dean and Castiel were in their bed watching a movie, then the credits began rolling.

Dean peered down in his lap to find himself staring into blue eyes. The angel smiled up at him, earning a rewarding stroke of the hair by the hunter.

"This is so nice," Castiel cheered up at Dean.

Dean let a soft smile creep onto his features, "Sure is a nice break from the job. We haven't had a case in two weeks."

"Not that," Castiel bopped Dean's nose, "I mean this, us."

A cute chuckle escaped him, "You've been saying that since I told Sam two months ago."

"Well it gets better everyday," Castiel lifted his head from Dean's lap, and adjusted his body so that he was sitting on the bed face to face with his partner.

Dean cocked his head to the side a bit, "What's that goofy smile on your face about?"

"I just think it's time," Castiel reached out, grabbing Dean's hand in his.

Dean's heart began to pound. His cheeky expression melted into one of confusion and tension. Time for what? he thought. He had never... done it before, well, with a man.

Castiel caught on to the shocked look on his face, "No, not that," he could see the relieved sigh escape Dean.

"Then what?" Dean grew curious.

Castiel shyly looked down at their intertwined hands, rubbing smooth circles on the back on Dean's hand with his thumb, "I want to show you something."

"Sure Cas, what is it?" Dean began to mimic Castiel's motion with his hand.

Cas let a small chuckle escape his lips, "Its, uh, kinda personal. I shouldn't even be doing this, it's not necessarily allowed."

"Like the entirety of the state of this relationship is allowed in Heaven?" Dean raised an eyebrow, this must've been serious.

Cas looked up, scared eyes looking into green, "I want to show you my wings."

Dean's eyes widened slightly. He never even thought once about Castiel's wings. The only time he saw them was when they first met, and even then, it was just a shadow. He could only imagine the glory and beauty that they harnessed, considering who they belonged to.

"Now?" Dean asked.

Cas nodded silently, "Yes, now."

"Well," Dean looked around the room before returning to Castiel's face, "Is there anything I should now about them?"

He shrugged, "I just want to show you so you can see the whole me."

Castiel glided his hand from Dean's grasp, moving to sit on the floor near the bed. He nudged his head near him, gesturing Dean to join him. Of course, he did.

The two of them were on the floor, in their pajamas, it was one of their let's just be lazy and cuddle days. They were both in dark sweatpants, Castiel wearing a white shirt and Dean without.

Castiel looked up from his twiddling thumbs, "Ready?"

Dean nodded, then right before his eyes, two black bundles of feathers sprouted from the back of Castiel's shirt. His eyes roamed every inch of them. They were so pure. They were more beautiful than anything Dean could have imagined. He was compelled to stroke every single one, feather by feather, just to take the smooth silk feather in his hands.

He reached out his hand towards them, and Castiel's widened and he began to lean back slightly.

Dean's eyes went back to Castiel's, the blue giving off a vibe of fear and vulnerability, "It's okay, Cas. It's me. I got you."

Castiel took a breath before sitting upright, allowing Dean's hands to near his wings. As his fingertips brushed along the tips of the bottom feather, Cas flinched. This was the first time anyone ever touched them. It was scary, he didn't know how it would feel, but he trusted Dean. He didn't realize they would be this... sensitive.

Dean could feel Cas' movement, and took away his hand for a moment, looking at Cas to see what he felt. When Cas returned with a half smile, he whispered:

"Cas, it's okay. You know I would never hurt you. I love you."

The rest of Castiel's smile etched itself to his face, "I love you too, Dean"

He traced the wings, Castiel moving less and less. Eventually, he was able to stroke across rows at a time, and Castiel cooed at the touch. They felt just like he imagined, they were practically golden silk in his hand. Sleek black feathers fully stretched met his stroking hand, not a single one left out.

"They're beautiful, Cas," Dean gave him a heartfelt smile.

"Thank you," Cas returned a shy smile.

Dean pulled back his hand, putting one on the side of Castiel's face, "I love you wings and all," pulling him into a gentle kiss, wringing his shirt with his free hand.
