~9 AM ~

"Kam if I have to tell you to stop hitting your brother one more time I'm going to whoop your ass," I said grabbing Kaylin and placing him on the other side of Kj so that he was beside Kailyn and away from Kam.

"I wanted to sit beside Kai," Kam said crossing his arms

"Too bad," Kj said rolling his eyes and continuing to watch the basketball game that was on tv as he ate

I let out a sigh and looked at all of my big headed children, Kj had just turned 7 and acted just like Kyle, attitude and all. Kam was 5 and my wild child, he was always doing something that would piss his other siblings off. Kaylin and Kailyn were 3 and a headache, Kailyn wasn't that bad she's pretty quiet almost all of the time unless someone started messing with her then her little Kuzma attitude comes out. Kaylin, on the other hand, loved to get into stuff he wasn't supposed to, I honestly think that this little boy loves getting yelled at.

"Stop," Kailyn whined pushing Kaylin's hand away from her face

"Come on Kai, I got to get you ready for your doctor's appointment today," I said wiping the extra food off of her face

"I don't wanna go," Kailyn said quietly before taking off running upstairs to go hide which made me sigh

"Are they going to do more tests?" Kj asked looking over at me

"Just one today, can you go find her and change her into the outfit on her bed while I get your brothers straight," I asked taking up plates as Kj got up and went upstairs to look for Kailyn

"Kam take your brother to the bathroom and wash yalls hands and face," I said making a face when I put the sticky forks in the sink.

"I'm home," Kyle said walking in and walking up behind me before giving me a kiss on the side of my neck

"How was practice?" I asked finishing up the dishes

"Good, babe look," He said making me turn around

He stood in front of me with a bouquet of peonies that were all a different shade of pink

"Aww these are so beautiful, thank you baby," I said grinning and leaning up to give him a kiss

"Mhmm, maybe I can give you something else tonight," He said wiggling his eyebrows which made me laugh

"Yeah if Kailyn's appointment goes well," I said

"Damn I forgot about that today, she's not getting stuck today is she?" He asked biting into one of the pancakes I made

"Hopefully not, I think we're just going to look at her heart today,"

"These good asf ma," He muttered before starting to eat his fourth pancake

"Boy your coach would have a fit if he saw you eating these, doesn't he have everyone on a diet," I said rolling my eyes and laughing when he shrugged and looked me up and down

"Shit you looking thick as fuck in them pants mamas, I might have to eat you," He said smiling

"Boy shut up," I laughed

"Daddy can we do some drills later," Kj called coming into the kitchen holding Kailyns hand

"Yeah go get dressed and imma talk to ya big headed mammy before we start," Kyle said making me roll my eyes

"Okay," He said before handing Kai over to Kyle and running out the room

"STOP RUNNING," I yelled after him

"My babyyy, you gonna be good at the doctor's today," He asked Kailyn while she made a face at him

"No," She said crossing her arms

"How about this if you do good today well all go get ice cream and go swimming, yeah?" Kyle said watching her pout

I laughed a little knowing that she wanted to say yes

"Okay daddy, ill try to be good," She said

"Good girl, now give me a kiss," He said making her turn and kiss his cheek

He handed her to me before kissing both of our foreheads

"I love you, text me what happens,"

10 AM
~

"NO, MOMMY," Kailyn screamed crying for me trying to kick out of Dr.Lanes arms and to me as she laid her down on the table

Today was supposed to be a quick checkup no needles and no scans, but of course, things never go as planned.

"Baby you have to calm down," I said holding her face as she started to cry so much she was struggling to breath

I frowned looking at her when her body started to tense up and shake a little

"She's having another seizure," I said to Dr.Lane before holding her so that she didn't hurt her head.

"We need to get this IV in,"

"I can't find a vein," One of Dr.Lanes interns said

"Do a central catheter," Dr.Lane said making my head snap up

"You are NOT putting a tube in her chest," I said

"We have no choice, her heart is already week if she keeps having these seizures her heart will just give out you know this, we can put the catheter in for the medicine and the dialysis," Dr.Lane said

"Fine," I muttered knowing what she was saying was true,

"Mommy," Kailin cried coming out of the seizure

"I know baby, it'll be over soon," I whispered to her watching them apply the numbing cream on her chest and start to insert the catheter to her chest.

"It's in, well put her on a two hour dialysis," Dr.Lane said

~1 PM ~

I gently unhooked Kailyn out of her car seat and pulled her up out of it, trying my best not to touch her chest.

She could barely open her eyes to look at me before leaning into my neck and falling back asleep.

I walked into the house hoping that the boys were quiet so that they didn't wake her up.

I walked by the living room and smiled a little. They were all sitting around the living room eating grilled cheese sandwiches and watching Spongebob.

Kam was the first to see me so he called out making them all look over

Kyle frowned a little seeing Kailyn asleep in my arms and two bandaids on her thighs

"How was it?" He asked making me shake my head as I teared up a little

Kyle got up and walked with me to lay her down in our room since I didn't want her to sleep by herself tonight

"What happened? I thought today was going to be a good day? She wasn't supposed to have any more needles," Kyle asked quietly and running his hand gently over her band aids

"We did a test when we got there and her Kidneys were slowing down, so they gave her two shots of medicine and we were going to do dialysis but you know how she is with needles so she started freaking out and had a seizure. Kyle they put a fucking tube in her chest," I cried quietly, I hated seeing her go through all of this

Kyle moved her shirt a little to see the catheter they had placed in her chest

He sighed before gently rubbing her cheek

"It's one thing after another man," He whispered

"Mommy is Kailyn okay?" Kj asked standing at the doorway with the other 2

"Yeah come here," I said as Kyle and I moved in the bed so that all of up could fit

"Be careful," Kyle said moving Kam slightly so that his arm wouldn't hit Kai's chest.

For the next hour, they all stayed cuddled up together so that Kailyn wasn't alone.
