Swirling wind and pounding rain cancel her cries
She loved him so
The earth fell beneath her
As he walked away
The storm carries his voice to her
High upon that lonely hill
Her loss like fire in her chest
She howls her call to him as the tears stream down her face
Her mind blurs with her grief
It is as sharp as thorns in her mind
She cries his name again and again
Hoping praying
That maybe he will hear it
maybe he will come back
Her claws cant protect her now
Her head hangs in the rain
So defeated that she doesn't bother lifting her wings to shield herself
Her tears mix with the water flowing over her
Lightning flashes and thunder rumbles
But neither can match the storm within her now
