I don't look up until my name is called.Today,I'm taking the aptitude test. It's very important and tells you what faction you should choose.Only one person chose a different faction than the one they had aptitude for.Her name is Kyiah. She chose Dauntless.
And my test administrator is a Dauntless woman sitting on a stool.
"Hello.my name is Trina! And I'll be running your test."She grabs a vial from the counter behind her."Drink this."
I drink the liquid with no objections.

I stand in a room.Alone.
I am in a room with two objects on a table: a syringe and a knife.
"CHOOSE!"a voice booms .I don't think twice.
I grab both the syringe and the knife. Then, a loud growling sound comes from behind me.I turn to find a wolf that could possibly have rabies. The wolf lunges at me.I stab it with the knife in its head.
Another wolf appears where the last on was.I run up and stab the wolf as its fangs sink into my arm.
"Ow!What the fuck, man,"I say and spit down on the wolfs body.A third wolf appears.I bend down to pick up the knife, but it's gone, along with the wolf.I start towards the wolf, but as I get closer,I realize that it's just a dog.
And for some reason, a Candor girl about 6 years old appears in the doorway.
"PUPPY!"she yells obviously excited. The dog lunges at her and I charge forward to save her.I stick the syringe in her neck.I press down the plunger.
The scene shifts and I'm on a bus.A factionless man stands before me.
He then holds up a picture of a man.
"Have you seen this man?"he asks me.I feel like I do know him, but, then again, this man is scary. So I lie to get away.
"Well,have you?"he asks.
I shrug my shoulders.
"Well?"he asks,angrier than before.
I set my jaw and day,"No,I don't."
"You're lying! If you know who this is,you could save me."
"Well,I don't,"I say as I get off the bus.

Trina sits up in her chair."That was perplexing.I'll be right back."
Perplexing?
What had I done wrong? When Trina comes back in and says,"Well, your test results were Dauntless,Candor,Erudite, and Abnegation. People who have these results are called..."she looks around as if someone is supposed to come in.
"These people are called 'Convergent'.You should never tell anyone about this.Ever."
"I know.My grandparents told me that."
"No,I mean ever. It's extremely dangerous,"Trina says in a hushed voice.
"How can inconclusive test results be dangerous?"I ask, confused.
"Listen,do you want to be found dead at the bottom of a chasm? If not, don't tell anyone about this. Now, you should go home.I'll tell yo.ur grandparents -"
"No!Don't do that!Please,"I plead.
"Okay,I won't,"Trina says as she closes her eyes. She leaves the room and I follow her.
