I peered out the door as much as I could.
"Um guys? Why is there a giant caterpillar on the floor?" I asked nervously.
The class started laughing. Even Katsuki had to bury his face in his sleeve to prevent himself from laughing out loud. I stepped next to Izuku, looking at the mysterious thing on the ground. A gruff looking face poked out.
'Is that a hobo?'
A part of my brain made that assumption without even thinking and I almost burst out laughing.
"Im Shota Aizawa. Your homeroom teacher." He commented, taking out a juice bag and drinking it.
"WHAT???" We all said in unison.
He stood up, unzipping his sleeping bag.
"It took you eight seconds to quiet down. Time is a precious resource. You aren't a very resourceful bunch, are you?"
Then he reached into his sleeping bag and pulled out a gym uniform and threw it at my face.
"Put these on, and meet me out on the training grounds."
"okay-" I mumbled through the cloth.
'What is going on?'
~Le time skip brought to you by Bakugou screaming relentlessly~
"Mr. Aizawa, why are we out here? Don't we have orientation?" The brown haired girl said.
"You'll never get anywhere by attending those things. And besides, I have to test whether or not you are worthy of staying here or not."
"What do you mean?"
"We'll be going through a series of tests, and your score depends on the situation. The person with the lowest score at the end... will be expelled."
I gasped along with the rest of the class.
"But we just got here! That's not fair!" Kirishima said.
"Not fair?"
Aizawa turned around. I gulped.
"If you want to be a hero, you have to know that some things aren't fair."
Kirishima shifted closer to me, like a cowering puppy.
"Anyway, softball throwing, the standing long jump, the fifty meter dash, endurance running, excetera. You did all these in middle school, yes? Your standard no quirks allowed tests. Y/N."
Suddenly something flew at my face. I caught it, finding a softball in my hand.
'What is it with him and throwing shit at me?'
"How far could you throw that in middle school?"
"Um, around seventy meters..." I replied, inspecting the ball.
"Great. Now try it with your quirk. Do what you need to, just don't leave that circle."
"Nice."
'Which quirk to use....? Oh! I know!'
I brought back my arm.
"Cover your ears!" I yelled to the class.
They did right as the ball left my grasp.
'Sonic... Boom!'
A large crack shot through the air. Aizawa winced.
"Holy shit! That broke the sound barrier!" Katsuki cussed.
Suddenly I heard a beep from Aizawa's phone looking thing. He turned it towards us.
"803.5 meters." He said sleepily.
The class let out murmurs of approval.
"Your fates are in our hands. Welcome. This is..."
His eyes glinted red.
"The hero course at UA high!
