CHAPTER SEVEN: WAS IT A DREAM?

Taeyong's POV

I saw the color of his pupil changed! I clearly seen it and it's beautiful but it somewhat made me curious, how did it happen? Do I own super powers now? Am I incredible or I'm just lack of sleep? I sighed and shook my thoughts out of my head. This is hella crazy I swear to God, I can't even focus on the movie we're watching at Doyoung's dorm but all I can hear are Lucas and Ten's screaming like a girl. Lucas clinging to his boyfriend, Jungwoo who just eating the popcorn quietly, not getting even startled by the effects unlike Ten, who is now hiding his life behind Doyoung- who's busy scolding him. I smiled at the view, this is what we called "Thank God it's Friday" I stood up and went to kitchen and start rummaging at Doyoung's small fridge where I saw nothing but bunch of sweets and colas- and beers. It wouldn't kill if I get one can right? Shrugging it off, I grabbed the can and open it. I sat at the counter stool then looked at the moon before I took a small sip of it. Honestly, beer taste like urine but I have no choice, we're going overnight here too. The unpleasant taste burned down to my throat down to my stomach, it really taste shit but sooner my tongue became numb of the taste.
 

Half an hour later, the place became quiet. From one can of beer to six of it now I'm feeling dizzy, my sight is getting blurry and I feel sleepy. I rubbed my eyes as I saw a human form at the window, he looks familiar to me, he looks like I always seen him around. I can't see his face since it's quite dark in here and only the moonlight is giving me a few light- the figure walked towards me, I started to get scared, I wanna scream and run but my mind won't. I'm too tired to do it until he stand in front of me.

"You're so beautiful" the man spoke, his voice is so smooth and it's soothing me, it makes me send to sleep. I just look at him, not saying a word. I think I'm starting to dream or this is the side effect of the beer on me. His soft hand reached my face and rubs my cheek with his thumb, I leaned at his cold yet comfortable touch. My eyed are closed while he's saying something I don't understand. I opened my eyes to see his face again, I looked at his eyes. It's color is violet, something familiar again but I couldn't remember him. His face slowly leaned closer to me, I didn't bugged to pull myself but instead I waited for his next action— a pair of soft lips pressed against mine, it was so soft and surprisingly warm. I couldn't take it anymore, my eyelids were heavy until it dropped and sent me to my slumber.

Taeyong felt a poke on his cheeks, he stirred on his position, scrunching his nose before he forcefully opened her eyes. He saw Doyoung standing and looking at him with unbelievable gaze as he he looked at the empty cans infront of his friend.

"What is it?" Taeyong asked with his groggy voice, squinting his eyes looking at his best friend.

"Come, sleep at my room" Doyoung offered as he started to pick up Taeyong's mess and put it in the bin.

"What time is it now?"

"Around quarter to six?" Doyoung answered.

That dream, it feels like it really happened.

He thought as he walked at Doyoung's room and throwing himself on the bed. He bit and touched his lips as he couldn't believe that a dream is almost feel like real. But then again his head start throbbing again so he decided to go back sleeping again.

Jaehyun was on his usual place at his own mansion, standing at the balcony, facing the world as his thoughts clouding his mind. Random scenario coming up, both negative and positive. The full moon is coming, exactly two nights from now and it pressures him thinking if he should do it for himself or wait till another full moon comes. The vampire's body is getting thirsty for specific blood but he's also fighting against himself which sounds crazy. He took a tight gripped on the concrete railing of the balcony.


"Jae hyung..." a small voice said, coming from the back. He turned around to see one of his favorite people. His eyes get soften and the color of his pupils changed from red to normal one. He motioned the kid to come to him, he waited for him and the latter gladly went towards him.


"What's keeping you stress lately?" Looking at Chenle's eyes, it was full of questions and innocence.


"Nothing Chenle, it's just my works as a professor"

"You know hyung, you're a great leader! I salute you" Jaehyun shook his head, probably the kid needs something but he knows he was just helping him to cheer up.


"Okay, I got it what do you need—"

"JUNG YOON OH!?" The both males turned their head to the direction where the voice coming from. It was none other than, Kim Jungwoo. Who would thought he will yell so loud early at 8 AM in the morning when majority of his friends known him as the most quiet "human" they ever met.


"It's so early for you to yell, is there something happened? Did someone make you mad?" The leader's voice was full of concern as the younger male approach them. He was clenching his fist like a kid that been stolen a piece of candy.


"I saw what you did there!"


"But I though—"

Right, Jungwoo can be "invisible" sometimes.


Jaehyun cleared his throat, walking towards Jungwoo.



Pak!



He smacked the back of younger male's head.


"You think I already forgot what you said last time?" Now Jaehyun is acting like a kid but it doesn't matter to them because he looks like around 20s. Jungwoo was torn between rolling his eyes or laughing. He rubbed the back of his head where Jaehyun smacked him.

"How are you going to help him?" The brunette hair male asked.

Sighs.

"I guess I have to plan it all" He pursed his lips together, thinking of any idea. "I hope my plans will work and also I hope that in can help him to his project"

Vampires can't call in love. We do feel strange feelings but that doesn't mean we feel those mortal feelings such as love. What we feel was purely our cravings and ways how to satisfy ourselves. Our hearts don't beat, blood is our food. We're not warm but cold. Lust is also included as well and our hormones are usually active during the full moon. Once we mark you, our scent will also linger around you for to other vampires know who you belong and that's why I'm having second thoughts. They might use Taeyong against me.

"Taeyong is a man with full of curiosity, he will understand you but you need to take a step before the full moon comes."
