This is how I die... Thwok woefully thought, staring at the ground. In some freak surgery that'll leave me tongueless...

"Thwok...?" a voice quietly called to the sorrowful Wublin. It hesitantly looked up, trembling, fearing what wanted to take a jab at Thwok next, only to find relief to wash over it instead. "Oh thank the celestials..." It was Wubbox! "When I heard that scream I thought you were done for...!" it suspired in relief, untying Thwok from its trap. "Everything will be just fine-" Wubbox gasped, noticing the slice, "My goodness! What did... they do to you..." Wubbox squeezed the still bleeding cut on its arm.

"It... doethn't matter... who WATH that?!" Thwok raised its voice.

"Shh..!" Wubbox stared back at the doorway checking to see if they returned, "They might hear us... all you need to know is that they're out for your blood, or at least, your tongue," it whispered. "All because I thought... nevermind." Wubbox carried the now worried Thwok in its arms. "It doesn't matter, we need to get out of here."

"I knewh about thhe tonghue part, but I--"

"Hello?!" It was them. They were approaching the room again. "You're REAL good at impressions, Thwok!" the floorboards chirred. "That better be what's happening." The duo froze up, Thwok shivering, still bleeding in Wubboxs big, cold, metal hands. Wubbox took a deep breath, tensing up in fear. The squeaks got closer, louder, more importantly closer. Wubbox tiptoed towards the door.

"Hang on tight," Wubbox looked down at Thwok, whispering. Suddenly, it DASHED through the halls, followed by the angry gasp of the doppelganger.

"GET BACK HERE!" They screamed, running towards the almost quicker Wubbox. Thwok practically stabbed its fingers into the arms carrying it, scared that it might just slip away. Thwoks breath sped up as the heavy tears dripped from its eyes. It felt like a repeat. Just a loop of what happened before, but somehow worse, and somehow even scarier. Fear filled the two escaping electricity elementals faster than a water faucet filling a shot glass. They zipped through the familiar hallway, and reached the same old exit. Wait... THEY REACHED IT! Thwok was OVERJOYED as Wubbox fiddled with the doorknob, desperately trying to open it. The door swiftly swung open, slamming against the wooden wall. Wubbox stared at the long set of stairs, terrified. It sharply inhaled, ready to do anything it could to get to the top. It dashed up the steps... for a few seconds.
