"Ugh, I am not looking forward to going to school tomorrow" thought Sophie as she waited in line for pizza, which was her favorite food, well besides mallowmelt. She had been homeschooled for the last two years up in the hills on her adoptive parents animal preserve / sanctuary, and now she was finally going back to school. And during those years she really only saw Dex.
As she was waiting in line, she thought she saw someone she thought she knew, but she just dismissed it as her mind was playing tricks on her. But she then heard a laugh that she hadn't heard in years, and even then she rarely had heard it. So she went on her phone, looked up their number and decided to reach out and say
Sophie-Hey, I know we haven't talked in a long time and this is going to sound weird, but when you get this look up and nod.
As she hit send, sophie wasn't quite sure what was going to happen. By then, she was at the front of the line so she ordered a slice of cheese pizza cause she was basic like that. While she was in line her cousin/best friend dex texted her.
Dex- are you ready for school tomorrow?
Sophie- what do you think 😒😩
Dex- sophie you'll be fine itit won't be that bad
Sophie-easy for you to say, you've been going to school with these people since forever!
Sophie didn't notice, but her food was ready and they had started calling her name. So being the shy person she was, she blushed like crazy. She got her food and went to go find a table for herself but as she was walking by, being the klutz she was, she tripped. But before she hit the ground she was caught by the arm. As she stood up to say thank you and to compose herself, she saw something she hadn't seen in long time. Ice blue eyes, sharp jaw, small amount of freckles dotting their nose. Right as she looked they started nodding their head and said,
"Still falling for me, huh Foster"
