"Wait, you what? You work with Naomi's daughter?... I see" a mysterious voice came from the other end of the call. "Yes, her name is Kaiya, and it would seem like she has an.. Interesting ability." Trevor replied. "The Healing Touch." The voice said. "Exactly.. And I know you knew Naomi so-" Trevor began. "So what? I do know her but, none of the old doctors have seen each other in years. What is it that you want to know so badly?" The voice questioned. "I wanted to learn more about the healing touch, I find it interesting that there have only been 3 other known doctors to possess the ability. It would only be for research." Trevor explained. "I know that, but even so.. Naomi doesn't operate anymore, and she hasn't since we all worked back at Resurgam." There was a pause. *sigh* "well alright then. I just thought I'd let you know. Thanks dad." Trevor hung up. "Heh.. What am I gonna do with that kid?" The figure stood up, revealing himself as CRSo1, one of Resurgam's old doctors.---------- ---------------------------------------------- ~Resurgam: Diagnosticians office~ "knock knock". A tall man with faded green hair and a cigar stepped in. The new Diagnostician, Joshua, looked up at the man. "Dad, what are you doing here?" He asked. Gabe smiled, " Well, I came in here to check on you, and.. to give ya something." He pushed a computer monitor into the room. "RONI? but-" Gabe raised his hand up, "I know, I know. She was my old partner, and now.. she's yours." He smiled. "Good morning Dr. Cunningham." The machine responded. "A-are you sure about this?" Joshua asked again. "Yes, I'm positive. Every good Diagnostician needs a partner." Gabe patted on RONI's screen. "Well, Alyssa helps me with work you know." Joshua added.
"Oh, haha right. How is the misses?" he smirked. "Fine..." Joshua grumbled. He turned around in his chair a few times, and then looked back at RONI. " I remember this old thing from when I was little." he smiled. Gabe looked at Joshua and RONI and smiled back, knowing well what he was talking about. The door creaked open and a woman walked in. "Oh, sorry to interrupt you two." She smiled. "It's alright Alyssa." Joshua assured her. Alyssa stood by him. "Hey! Long time no see huh kid?" Gabe laughed. "It's nice to see you again Dr. Cunningham." Alyssa joked. "Hey, he's Dr. Cunningham now you know." Alyssa smiled down at Joshua in his chair. "And you know you can call me dad if you wanted to." Gabe joked, nudging Joshua. "You're the same as always." Gabe looked at the both of them and smiled. "You know.. I still remember when you two were just kids-" he began. Oh crap, not this again... But you've both grown and matured so much since then, sometimes I can hardly recognize you." he smiled jokingly. The two new doctors looked at each other and smiled. Gabe bent down to RONI's level. "RONI, this is your new partner now.. So take good care of him alright?" The machine responded: "Yes Dr. Cunningham." Gabe laughed. "He's Dr. Cunningham now." He gestured to Joshua. RONI turned to Gabe: "so are you implying that I will not work with you anymore Dr.?" The machine asked. "Heh.. I knew you were too smart for your own good. Yes, I'm sorry old friend, but this is it. I'm entrusting you with a new partner. Can you handle that?" RONI paused slightly, "Yes, Dr." He smiled. "That's the RONI I know." He patted the monitor. "Alright you two, have fun. I know you'll be great doctors." He turned to leave, and before the door closed RONI turned and said: "Farewell Dr. Cunningham"---
