It was 1:00 AM and Lucas still wasn't home. Jasmin was used to this, he always worked late practicing. She's proud of him and loves that he's working hard, but she misses his good night kisses and cuddles. She promised him tonight she would stay awake to see him but she fell asleep.
He arrived home at 2:30 AM.
"Jas..? You awake, babe?" He said softly.
He walked into their shared bedroom and Jasmin was sleeping.
"Cute." Lucas said and softly smiled. He walked over to her.
"I'm home Jas." He said and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek.
She opened her eyes. "Hey sweetie." She said.
"What time is it? Sorry I wasn't able to stay up I'm just so tired-" She was cut off by Lucas placing a soft kiss on her lips.
"No, I'm sorry. I keep you here all alone. I promise I'll start coming home sooner. Also, I got you something to make up for being late."
Jasmin sat up and looked at Lucas with curiosity. He came back into the room with a rose.
"It's not much but, I wanted to come home as soon as possible." He smiled and handed Jasmin the rose.
"I love it. Now come here and sleep!"
Lucas laid down on the bed. He gave Jasmin kisses on the cheek and cuddled her.
"I love you." He said, quietly.
