On the night of the homecoming dance, Billy and his group are gathered in his room, getting ready.
Caleb: Thanks for having us all over here, Billy.
Billy: Not a problem.
Michael: So......what's the story with you and Emma?
Billy: the 'story'?
Michael: We know you two are going to homecoming together, but what else? Any juicy details?
Billy: Emma and I are still figuring things out. I mean I really like her, but....I don't know if as a friend or.....maybe more.
Aiden: Well, if you two kiss tonight, I called it!
Michael: Yeah, yeah, man. You and everyone else at Berry called it.
Billy: Wait, was it that obvious?
Michael: You two were attached to the hip from day one.
Caleb: Besides, I noticed the look in your eyes when she asked me out.
Billy: Caleb, this isn't weird for you, is it?
Caleb: Of course not. I'm glad she's found someone.....but take your time though; love isn't a race.
Luis: Same here. She'll be happy with you, Billy.
Billy: Luis, I know you had something towards Emma.....I'm sorry if you feel any resentment towards me.
Luis: What? No! I don't. You're a good guy, Billy. I saw that in you when you were looking for Caleb. When you stepped up to Brian that day at lunch....
Billy: So you're okay with her going to homecoming with me?
Luis: Of course! No hard feelings, man!
Luis offers his hand to Billy, who shakes it. Just then, Scott opens the door and pokes his head in.
Scott: Sorry to interrupt, but I just got a call from Mr. Flores. Apparently, the girls are on their way, so you'd better finish getting ready.
Luis: Is there a bathroom I could change in?
Scott: Sure. Right this way, son.
A few minutes later
Luis enters the room in a tuxedo with a red bow-tie.
Luis: Okay, who's next?
Michael: I'll go.
Billy: Nice suit, Luis.
Luis: Glad you think so....and thanks for including me in your homecoming group. I know we're not that close.
Billy: Not a problem. It's going to be fun.
Michael appears at the door, wearing a white dress shirt with a black vest and yellow flower strapped to his vest coat.
Michael: Okay, bathroom's free.
