Since clementine came to ericsons it's felt like a much safer place
she makes me feel safer then marlon did but he's gone and can't hurt anyone ever again
And now we are just focusing on leave after we barely survived the raiders boat exploding. I was terrified that whole time that I'd lose clementine and I'd never get to tell her how I felt about her
But now that it's all over I'm not sure how to tell her about my crush towards her
and of course My best friend ruby has been makeing a plan to get me and clementine together and today she put that plan into action
(Currently)
I was sitting on one of the picnic benches with Mitch we were planning on building another bomb to distract some walkers by the old train station
And little did I know who was watching me and Mitch plan from the second floor
-clementines pov -
"Clem hey clementine " ruby called from the top of the stairs I turned to her "what's up ruby everything ok ?"I asked
"Everything is great Clem I have sumthin to tell ya " she said happily clapping her hands
I raised a eyebrow
"Before I tell ya can I ask do you like any one round here " she asked
I nodded
"Ya have to tell me who"
I sighed "if I tell you promise not to tell anyone "
She nodded
"Y/N is who I like "I admitted blushing
"Omg " ruby whispered
I looked at her confused
"That's what I was gonna tell you Clem Y/N likes you too she's just not sure how to tell you " ruby explained staring me right in the face
I blushed she liked me back
"So what are you gonna do now Clem "ruby asked I smiled
"Can you get her to the piano room ?" I asked and ruby smirked "you bet " ruby then walked past me and outside and I made my way to the piano room

"Y/N " someone yelled pulling my attention away from bomb planning
I turned around to see ruby waving to me from the steps of the main building
She then motioned me to go to her
I nodded and told Mitch I'd be back

Once I made my way to ruby I saw she was wearing a huge smile on her face
"You ok ruby " I asked
"Ya but I have some news for ya " she giggled
I raised a eyebrow "news?" I asked
Ruby nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me into the main building and up the stairs to the second floor

I registered were we are "ruby are we going to the piano room " I asked but ruby kept quiet until we reached the doors
"Just in there " ruby giggled before running away I was for lack of a better word shocked why had ruby lead me here

Thoughts raced around my head
Oh god did she drag clementine here

I sighed and pushed the door open to see clementine sitting on the piano bench her hands clasped together
Clementine looked up and when her eyes meet mine she smiled and got to her feet
"Come here Y/N " she said nodding her head towards the piano bench she just got up from

I did what she asked and made my way over to the bench and took a seat clementine took one after me still smiling
"Ok so I talked to ruby and she told me something I'm really happy about " Clem said holding her clasped hands towards me
"And I wanted to give you this before I tell you " she said slowly opening her hands to reveal a necklace with a small anchor on it
it looked old but still beautiful "omg Clem it's beautiful I can't take this " I gasped
"Yes you can " she said pushing the necklace into my hands "besides I want you to have it if you say yes to my question " Clem said her smile falling slightly
I raised a eyebrow "ruby told me that you have feelings for me and my question is Y/N will you be my girlfriend " she said quickly but I still heard everything
Clem likes me

"So is that a yes " Clem asked rubbing the back of her neck
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend Clem" I said takeing her hand and smiling
Clem's whole face lit up
Then as if we were both thinking the same thing we both leaned in till our lips connected
Clem brought her hand to the back of my neck drawing me closer
Our lips and moved in sync as we kissed passionately
This moment was amazing  but of course we needed to breathe so we broke the kiss leaning our foreheads together
Clem's hand stayed on the back of my neck  "I love you Y/N " Clem whispered
"I love you too Clem " I whispered before kissing her once again
