" look at us all covered in war wounds " violet laughed as we approached the school
" Ruby's gonna kill us " I giggle
" you mean she's gonna kill me she loves you too much " violet teased shoving my shoulder lightly I groaned from pain and case I knew violet was right
When we arrived we went to the second floor of the main building only to run into Louis
His eyes widened when he saw the state of us " shit Ruby's gonna kill you guys what happened " he asked his tone more worried then his expression
" we fell down a large bank down the river it was pretty rocky so we got a little roughed up " I said right before we heard a gasp behind Louis and he moved aside to reveal ruby both shocked and upset
" what the hell happened to you " she asked pushing past Louis to stand in front of me and violet and we told her exactly what we told Louis
I finished explaining making eye contact with ruby
" well let's get you all patched up " ruby sighed motioning for us to fallow her
We sat down on the battered couch and ruby started cleaning all our cuts and scraps

Violet stood when rub was done bandaging her arm " I'm gonna go find Clem so she knows I'm okay " violet laughed walking down the hall to the stairs and gives us a over the shoulder wave before disappearing From view leaving ruby and I alone

Ruby sighed softly sitting next to me on the couch " you had me worried y/n" she whispers softly but I still heard her
I took her hand in mine " I know and I'm sorry but I promise I'm okay " I smiled and she looked up at me strands of her fiery hair falling in front of her eyes And I tucked them behind her ears " your stuck with me " i whisper kissing her forehead softly

She laughed squeezing my hand " I'm sorry I worried you ruby " I said looking into her eyes
" you came back to me that's what matters " she replied wrapping her arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to her side I leaned my head on her shoulder
" I love you ruby " I say with a smile lifting my head from her shoulder to peck her on the lips
"I love you too " she whispers as she returns my kiss gently cupping my face pulling me closer to her
She tangled her fingers in my hair
I sighed softly against her lips and I felt her smile into the kiss

" hey ruby I need another bandage!" A voice called and ruby and I pulled apart
"Later sugar " she whispers in my ear getting to her feet
I sat Blushing like a tomato as she walked away
I sat back on the couch and sighed softly ruby would always worry way too much about me but that's one of the many things I love about her
She was the first person to care about me when I first came to Ericsson's before the world to shit and even when that happened she was always there for me
Now I know why she worried about me so much
She loves me just as much as I love her and she doesn't want to lose me just like I don't want to lose her
