"Hey scrub, ya finna give me your Cheez-Its or do I have to steal em?" I rolled my eyes as I threw my bag of snacks at the tall boy.
"Have at em Anthony, but ya owe me another one of ya posters!"
We virtually talked throughout this time, as it was our lunch period. The boy I sat next to was my bestie, basically my only friend. We had many things in common, our love of books, bands, and drawing, but the main thing we bonded over was anime. It was a relief knowing someone who shared the same mentality and trash attitude existed.
"Me? Give you MY things? That's a funny joke b." I rolled my eyes at his dumb banter, listening to our loud ass classmates ramble about whatever is trending. It was peaceful, until I felt a nudge on my shoulder.
"What do you want Ant? I gave you my Cheeze-It's yOU PATHETIC W-" I stopped mid-sentence as I saw Anthony getting dragged through a open portal, with purple wisps fluttering around it. On instinct, I ran into the open abyss, unaware that my vision went dark and a rest fell onto me like a thick blanket.
My eyes opened with immense force as I jumped up in bed, a sweat bead gliding down the side of my head. I could hear my heavy breathing fill the unfamiliar room. I gazed at the room around me, a big mirror covering up most of my right wall, as a window laid at my left. The darkness of the night was dispelled by the light of the moon cascading onto the hardwood floors. I got out of bed and looked myself in the mirror, my typical black hair flowed in a tangled mess at my waist. My black eyes had the deepest bags known to man, as I gazed at my tan skin.
"I- I'm the exact same yet this isn't my fucking room... Where's Ant? Where's my phone? Oh. I really don't have my priorities straight." A light laugh escaped my lips as I forgot to ask the most important question of all.

"Where the fuck am I?"
