Chapter 10 ~ Pancakes

He...he grabbed my arm and pulled me back, enveloping me in a tight hug. I was shocked at first, but then I began to hug back, tighter than ever.

I heard the boys snapping pictures on their phones, but at this point I didn't care. I was happy that my brother forgave me and still loved me.

"I really am sorry, Taylor. I just wanted to help." I mumbled, looking down at my feet.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. I shouldn't have acted the way I did, though. How about we make a deal? If I stop smoking and doing drugs, then you stop getting into my own personal business, okay?" Taylor asked.

I nodded,"Yeah, okay." He smiled down at me, and I grinned back.

"Sooooo, we haven't eaten yet...." Hayes said. Everyone looked at him. "Dude, you totally just ruined the moment," Zack said. I think that's his name. Zack and Jack? I don't know, I'm Taylor's sister, it's not like I stalk them.

"Sorry! I'm just hungry!" Hayes shrugged. "You're always hungry." Nash commented. The waitress finally came back with our food. "YEET!" Hayes shouted before happily digging in.

"Does he always say that?" I whispered to Cameron. He nodded,"He used to only say it during shows and videos, but now it's like his daily vocabulary. I swear, yeet is as important to Hayes as music is important to Shawn."

We both turned back to our meals. Neither of us had touched out plates, but my food was completely gone. "Huh?" I asked confused.

Matt pointed at Hayes who was smiling at me innocently. His food was gone too. "Hayes!" I whined.

"I'm a growing boy, I need to eat!" Hayes defended himself. I rolled my eyes. "Nash is officially my favorite Grier." Nash fist pumped the air as Hayes pouted. Hmmm, Matt's food looks good. I eyed Matt's plate.

We made eye contact, and he instantly knew what was going to happen. "N-" He began, but I had already grabbed his pancake and shoved it in my mouth.

I immediately started choking.
