We continued the walk we had to walk for weeks maybe months we were going to follow big roots which sat in the tunnel roof. My leg just made everything harder, Mayenku gave me a long spear with a rusty piece of iron on the tip.
"Why did you give this to me", I said
"What do you think we actually eat down here..stones...gra...",he said with a sarcastic voice.
His speaking was abruptly interrupted by an inhuman scream that sounded like a chainsaw combined with a crying baby and a frog. Behind some rocks a big slimy creature moving on thin stick looking legs and blood red spiky thorns were sticking out here and there on the body and from the peaks on the thorns there flew out thick green liquid...Poison.
"Do not move",Mayenku whispered really slowly.
I took one single step backwards then I fell...and hit the ground hard and made a loud noise, the creature moved its lumpy head towards us the skin was greyish blue and its several and diverse multi colored eyes was so spread out so you could think like a baby had glued them there.
It prepared for battle, It opened a star like mouth,and out came two human like hands covered in pink slime, the creature's thin legs grew taller while the thorns started spraying out green liquid.
It ran quickly towards us and I prepared my spear, It leaped and swung the spear forwards and I closed my eyes then heard a squishy sound almost like wet sponge thrown at the ground, and then I felt a heavy weight on the spear and had a dense jelly pouring down my face. I opened slowly my eyes the creature was pierced by the spear and pink heavy slime was flowing down my hands.
"Well...now we have lunch",Mayenku said.
Mayenku took away the creature from the spear and laid it his scale bag. We continued walking a long time we were supposed to follow gigantic black roots so in the ceiling so it was not that hard to navigate. Then we made a campfire and builded two scale tents, then I Tasted Badhonga fruit for the first time It is really disgusting and sour almost salty when I took my first bite Mayenku, started laughing because of my face, the shell overlay of the fruit had a dark purple look and the inside was blue and wet. Then we were going to eat the creature we first needed to boil it and remove the poison gland, by pulling in our hands in its slimy flesh. When we started eating the creature I asked.
"What was that thing",I said with my mouth full of slimy meat.
"Excuse me",he said.
"What was that thing",I said when I had swallowed the sticky mess.
"It is a Ramgha",he replied
"it is not the most dangerous animal down here", he said
"which is the top predator",I asked
"Well it is called Ongacschaneraum,it is a gigantic worm that drills these tunnels",he replied with no fear in his voice at all, almost like they was showing up daily.
"We need to keep moving now we must reach Maghaand before drilling season",he said and we both raised up and started walking.
